"description": "“By chanting, speaking and intoning the words of Yeshua [in Aramaic], especially the prayer that he gave, we have the opportunity to come directly into his consciousness, which is beyond any translation or explanation.” - Neil Douglas-Klotz\n\n \n\nAmy Bisazza and Kelly Shivani Rose warmly invite you to our monthly prayer group where we will gather to learn, chant, sing, embody, and bask in, this beautiful prayer. \n\n \n\nEach month we will guide you on an embodied journey with the prayer through meditation, chanting, movement and silent contemplation, as we explore the deeper meaning of each verse and how it can be applied to our everyday lives, as well as how it can connect us with the Divine. \n\n \n\nWhen the disciples asked Yeshua, “How do we pray”, he gave this prayer as his answer. It can serve us as a roadmap to living a fulfilling life where the ever-flowing river of the Divine moves through us, as it does through all of creation.\n\n \n\nGain insight into the deeper layers of Yeshua’s Prayer and how, when spoken in Aramaic, it is profound and liberating in equal measure. It is soul-filled, and like a soothing balm for the mind, body and soul. \n\n \n\nEach verse is potent, and like a gentle, loving guidance for connecting with the Divine within ourselves and with all that is around us. Its relevance transcends time, space and place, and is a prayer for all. \n\n \n\n**✨**\n\n \n\n**NB:** This is the Lord’s Prayer in Aramaic, the ancient language that Yeshua spoke. Neil Douglas-Klotz, Ph.D., is a teacher and scholar who has specialised in the native traditions of Southwest Asia for over 40 years and is the author of _Prayers of the Cosmos_, the book we refer to when learning the prayer.\n\nHe offers a number of English translations from the Peshitta, the Aramaic Bible that developed between the 2nd and 5th centuries CE. The Peshitta emerged through a complex history of translation and transmission, drawing on earlier Syriac Gospel traditions and Greek manuscripts of the New Testament. It was developed by Syriac-speaking Christians of that time, including clergy, theologians, translators, scribes and teachers.\n\nThe Aramaic language contains words with multiple layers of meaning, and Neil Douglas-Klotz explores not only the cultural context and the linguistic roots of each word but also their sounds and symbolic associations, sometimes extending beyond conventional scholarly translation. Through this approach, he presents multiple alternative, interpretive and poetic translations that bring a deep and expansive dimension to Yeshua's words.\n\n \n\n✨\n\n \n\nDETAILS:\n\nWe recommend that you find a quiet, peaceful spot to connect with us on the morning of the prayer group. Perhaps light a candle and incense, or create an altar in your home.\n\n \n\nThe workshop will run from 10am - 11.30am with an option to stay online until 11.45am for a Q&A with us.\n\n \n\nWe ask for a £12 contribution \n\n✨But we won't turn anyone away so please email us if you need support. ✨\n\n \n\n✨\n\n \n\nUPCOMING DATES:\n\nSunday 8th November\n\nSunday 6th December\n\n \n\n✨\n\n \n\nAmy studied the prayer for many years, and with fellow musicians, produced this beautiful rendition:\n\n \n\n<oembed url=\"https://open.spotify.com/album/55WcxUK18esj31IGg91x3x?si=Tk2MiabQS8mbQiPEgd82vA\"></oembed>\n\n \n\n✨\n\n \n\n**Our relationship with the Prayer**\n\n \n\nThis prayer has been with us in the darkest and lightest of times, and the more we chant and connect to it the more power and strength it seems to gather. It humbly reminds us that what we really need WILL be provided, it whispers to focus on the good that we already have in life, it demands of us to let go of hatred and resentment, it asks of us to stand in our power and at the same time continue to be a loving force. \n\nThe prayer speaks to us through micro daily miracles and also the colossal unbelievable movement of mountains, the words of Yeshua lights up our Souls when internal and external voices are trying to dim our light, the prayer instills in us the power of Trusting with full abandonment; jumping fully into the magic & miracle of this Sacred Life with a knowing we will always be held! So from this immense love, devotion and connection we would love to share this prayer with others✨\n\n \n\n<oembed url=\"https://youtu.be/crYFOAyI5Y0?si=JBXZjxkYwzqJ9l_x\"></oembed>\n\n \n\n ✨\n\n \n\nIf you have any questions please contact:\n\nAmy - amybisazza@gmail.com\n\nKelly - kellyshivanirose@gmail.com\n\n \n\nWe look forward to welcoming you\n\nLove Amy and Kelly\n\nxxx\n\n✨ \n ✨\n\n \n\n**Bios **\n\n**Amy Bisazza**\n\nAmy has been studying and exploring Spiritual practices since 2000, she has been teaching Yoga & Meditation since 2007.
