Full name: pub.techne.draft.sameAs
An assertion that two records describe the same thing.
Its existence is the assertion; deleting it withdraws it. The subjects may be any records (two events, two places, an old record and its replacement), so the schema fixes no collection, and the relation is symmetric: (subject, other) and (other, subject) are the same pair. Linking two records that each describe a PERSON is out of scope without that person's consent. Readers join every sameAs from writers they trust into one group (no direction, no chains to walk); a curator publishes one curated record per group. Written by the commons dedupe and venue rules, and for retired records pointing at their replacements. It says nothing about who wrote it (the author is the repo it lives in) or how (a pub.techne.draft.derivation about it says that), so anyone, not only our rules, can write one honestly. PUBLIC. Written only about public records: no space type declares this collection, so it has no permissioned home.
