V. Scarfe\n\n“The opposite of play is not work. It’s depression.” – Brian Sutton-Smith \n \n“Maturity consists in having rediscovered the seriousness one had as a child at play.” – Friedrich Nietzsche \n \n“The creation of something new is not accomplished by the intellect but by the play instinct.” – Carl Jung \n \nPlay is at the heart of every human being, and we don't need to wait until the evening. We can play all day!\" - Neil Morbey\n\n**YOU CAN COME SOLO, OR WITH A PARTNER, NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE OR PARTNER NECESSARY. WE AIM TO MAKE A SAFE, PLAYFUL SPACE FOR YOU TO EXPLORE**\n\n**Daytime playtime is a space for you to touch, play, relax and bring out your kinky parts (within boundaries), utilising the skills that you our community have acquired through the Caring Kink workshops. **\n\nIn the daytime playtime we will have a short 90 minute workshop at the start, leaving the remaining 4 hrs for free play. We will have capacity for 120 people. \n\n \n\n**ALL WELCOME. ** \n\nIt's ok if you've never been to a kinky workshop or if you're a seasoned pro. The workshop will help us all get on the same page to bring in care, consent and connection into our play. Remember too that 'play' can look like ANYTHING, including cuddling, chatting, rambunctious dancing, slow sensual connection, dark BDSM exploration, shame play, tying and holding, giggling... there isn't a 'right' way to play, except that we ask you to bring in care, consent and connection into everything you do. \nWe will have a big community of people who have been to the workshops before, but even if you haven't been before that's ok - we can all help each other to **play in a caring kink way.** \n\n \n\n**No Late Entry after 1pm**\n\nThe space will be open from 12:30pm, the workshop will begin at 1pm, when we will close the doors to anyone , so DON'T BE LATE. \n \n**Boundaries of Play** \nThis is a pants on play space (for now). No touching or revealing of genitals or anus. The reason is I want to encourage all types of sensual, creative, connecting and kinky play, but without rushing to genital based sex. Nothing wrong with sex, I love it. I just want to slow us down and be together for a little longer, so other parts of us get to be explored. I also am not ready to hold a space that has full sex as things become increasingly complex.\n\n**Clothing** \n\nArrive in simple comfy clothing for the workshop. We will change after the workshop in the transition to free play. Feel free to wear anything that makes you feel sexy and happy. This is often an area we get a lot of questions. Rest assured you can come as you are. I suggest bringing a variety of clothing. This isn't a high fashion finest leather, latex and high heels style event - this is more about connection. BEST ADVICE: WEAR WHAT FEELS GOOD TO YOU \n \n**What else is there?** \n**Two play rooms: ** As you arrive you'll be in the hallway with stairs leading up and down. Please deposit your shoes here and then put bags in the Hall of Hedonism, on your left. \n- **Hall of Hedonism:** On the ground floor we will have music and equipment so you can dance and go wild.\n\n- **Velet underground** : Downstairs there will be lots of soft mattresses and a big table of toys so you can explore in a more sensual way.\n\n- **De-Stimulation room: ** upstairs for when things get a little much. \n**Play bus stops: ** Each room has some chairs which you can sit at if you are waiting to play with someone. This allows other people to come along and pick you up.\n\n**Shared food:** Please bring something to add to the food table, ideally with a label of ingredients to cater for all needs. \n \n\n**Space monitors: ** We will have a team of people taking shifts to monitor the space to help make it safer. If you need a little extra support, feel free to ask one of them and at the same time they're not here as therapists just to keep things flowing. \n \n**Timings** \n**12:30pm** : Arrive and mingle \n**1pm** : Opening Workshop, closing the container (no entry after this point) \n**2:30pm ** At the end of the workshop there'll be a pause to change your clothing into something more fun and a little game and a dance to help us step into free play\n\n**6:30pm:** Free play ends with a little closing circle.\n\n**7pm: ** Participants clear the venue", "endsAt": "2026-12-12T19:00:00Z", "locations": [ { "$type": "community.lexicon.location.geo", "latitude": "51.470266", "longitude": "-2.6159389", "name": "Subud hall, Wesley Pl, Clifton, Bristol, UK" } ], "mode": "community.lexicon.calendar.event#inperson", "name": "Caring Kink - Daytime Playtime", "startsAt": "2026-12-12T12:30:00Z", "status": "community.lexicon.calendar.event#scheduled", "uris": [ { "$type": "community.lexicon.calendar.event#uri", "name": "Caring Kink - Daytime Playtime", "uri": "https://dandelion.events/e/i89ei" } ] }
