"description": "On the SoBa Walk, we’ll witness the co-existence of the old and new weaved together by the various communities, heritage structures, and houses. What makes this tour specialWe will start closer to the National College Metro station, soaking in the freshness offered by the avenue of trees. From there, we’ll venture into different streets and explore old houses in the neighbourhood. We will also visit a bazaar that has everything under the sun, and go to temples that have stood the test of time and have tales to awe entire generations. We’ll end the trail with a delicious South Indian breakfast that is nutritious, tasty, and one of Bangalore’s best fares in town. This is a walk for anyone who loves to explore the modern, simple yet rich side of South BangaloreYou can add your images, videos and itinerary route in lightbox for each itinerary as shown below, simply by changing the src path of each media.Manhattan has SoHo, Mumbai has SoBo, and namma Bengaluru has SoBa - South Bangalore. The land of playwrights, artists, and authors, Basavanagudi can be dubbed as the cultural capital of Bangalore (no offence to Malleswaram and North Bangalore peeps). In fact, most roads in this part of the city are named in the honour of these creative legends. On the SoBa Walk, we’ll witness the co-existence of the old and new weaved together by the various communities, heritage structures, and houses. We will walk through the bazaar and its specialities, visit a centuries old temple, and learn how this part of Bangalore has managed to retain its old-world charm. Join us as we explore one of the oldest neighbourhoods of Bangalore, the intellectual nerve centre of the city and get to know where the rich and the famous hung out.",
