"description": "Join us for the final presentation of Abel Korinsky, bangaloREsident@TheISRO, before he heads back to Germany! During his residency at The Indian Sonic Research Organisation, Korinsky explored the sonic “heritage” of Bangalore, identifying the residues of sounds around us as the city’s sonic landscape shifts. Ultrasonic Reflections is a work in progress that takes ambisonic and field recordings from Bangalore and transforms them into a spatial sonic experience. A 16-channel audio system creates the main musical and atmospheric layer, surrounding the audience with sounds caught from the city. The recordings are transformed until their original sources are hardly recognisable, while still reflecting the atmosphere, intensity, and contrasts that he experienced during his stay in Bangalore. Friday, October 16, 8:00 pm onwards The Indian Sonic Research Organisation Entry free. Open to all.",
