"description": "Most of us are only allowed to be half of ourselves. Strong, never soft. Composed, never furious. Giving, never wanting. Courageous, never vulnerable. Active, never still. God(dess) is a workshop for the rest of you. Shiva & Shakti. Yin & Yang. Jalal & Jamal. Wholeness isn't choosing a side. It's holding both. This Navratri, through six of the nava rasas (love, courage, fear, grief, joy and peace), we explore the masculine (presence, direction, strength) and the feminine (flow, softness, receptivity) in the body and find the balance between them. What You Can Expect: Experience: An immersive & participatory workshop Sound: Indian and world music to carry you inward Witness: live classical dance performance by Dr. Vyshnavi Sainath Expression: dynamic and gentle guided movement, exploring rasas in your own body Breath: breathwork to quiet the noise and reconnect Stillness: quiet moments to pause, reflect and simply be No performing required; you move for yourself, not an audience. Your guides: Naomi George: Founder of WHOLE | Mind. Body. Spirit. Holds the space and weaves the journey together (naomi_paradox). Dr. Vyshnavi Sainath: Bharatanatyam dancer & Kalarippayattu expert, performs and guides you through movement & expression (@dancervyshnavie). Who it's for: Everyone - Male, female, however you identify. All ages welcome. No dance or yoga experience needed. What to wear: Wear whatever feels like you: comfy, dressy, or somewhere in between. Just make sure you can move :). The intention: You'll leave feeling open, grounded and whole. For event related queries: 9535769474",
