"description": "_A retreat that focuses on ‘the bridge’_ _between psychedelic insight and lived experience._ \n\nA trauma informed three-day immersion inviting you to _slow down, listen inward, and create space for what emerges_. The retreat is designed to bridge profound inner experiences with lasting integration.\n\nFacilitated by accredited psychotherapists and psychologists trained with MAPS, who bring expertise in IFS, somatic inquiry, with experience supporting both therapeutic and ceremonial work, the retreat is grounded in trauma-informed practice, relational safety, and careful integration.\n\nThis thoughtfully curated retreat is tailored for individuals seeking personal insight, emotional exploration, and deeper connection.\n\nRooted in safety and depth, while also allowing room for creativity, good food, music, connection, and quiet moments of privacy and reflection.\n\n_ **Why We Created This Retreat** _ \nThrough years of working within both therapeutic and ceremonial settings, we have witnessed the profound potential of psychedelic work, but also the importance of approaching these experiences with care, preparation, ethical facilitation, and meaningful integration. \n \n\nWe created Bridge the Beyond from a shared belief that healing and insight are not found solely within the experience itself, but in how those experiences are understood, embodied, and woven back into everyday life. \nOur intention is to offer a space where depth, curiosity, and exploration can unfold within a carefully held environment.\n\nThis retreat may be supportive for those who are:\n\n- Navigating a life transition or period of uncertainty\n- Feeling stuck in recurring patterns, behaviours, or relationships\n- Seeking greater connection with themselves, others, or a sense of meaning and purpose\n- Looking to deepen self-awareness and explore their inner world within a carefully held environment\n- Processing grief, loss, or significant life changes \nExperiencing burnout, disconnection, or a feeling that something in life needs attention\n- Interested in approaching psychedelic work within a trauma-informed, relational, and ethically grounded setting\n- Curious about how insight can be integrated into everyday life through embodiment and meaningful change\n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/05/08/20/54/41/0ac3cab3-5299-4cf6-a823-dcf080f725d9/optimized.jpeg)\n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/05/28/14/27/01/ec8f613c-0285-45c0-9e3d-91737d3f08a8/preprocessed.jpg)\n\nThe retreat takes place within a group of no more than eight participants, with each person having their own private room.\n\nThe setting unfolds within a beautiful centuries-old farmhouse nestled in the North Holland Dune Reserve, close to the sea and easily reachable from Amsterdam. The space includes a Finnish sauna, outdoor shower, plunge pool, and quiet natural surroundings designed to support rest, reflection, and integration.\n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/05/08/20/56/05/9e1be36e-16be-4554-8b97-0b92b999c1e6/optimized (2).jpg)\n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/05/08/21/39/37/1d779325-fb9c-4aff-95f4-7b64f9f5b76c/c7d4d0e4-5739-4557-8a31-1b0c636f4855.jpeg)\n\n \n\nI **ncludes:**\n\n**Pre-retreat**\n\n- Careful screening session\n- 1:1 preparation session (option of more if needed)\n- Group preparation calls\n\n**The immersion**\n\n- 3-day & 2-night residential retreat\n- Private Accommodation and meals\n\n**The ceremonies**\n\n- Legally sourced psilocybin truffles\n- 2 x Guided ceremonies with experienced facilitators\n\n**Post-retreat integration**\n\n- Group integration call\n- 1:1 session\n- Monthly integration circle & community\n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/06/19/15/33/49/6b3d36c5-1bfe-4646-b41e-8d22db707609/c7d8f0b9-282b-4449-babf-9863c6e3a638.jpeg)\n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/06/19/15/35/40/2e85aa02-0448-43e5-98d9-6e4d376459e6/preprocessed (2).jpeg)\n\n_Check out the websites _\n\n[https://liminalpath.nl/bridge-the-beyond-retreat/](https://liminalpath.nl/bridge-the-beyond-retreat/) _ _\n\n_ _[_https://rebeccaoterotherapy.com_](https://rebeccaoterotherapy.com)[_ _](https://rebeccaoterotherapy.com/retreatsoct)\n\nCURIOSITY\n\nCompassionate observation of what emerges through the experience, thoughts, emotions, memories, patterns, and moments of insight.\n\nEMBODIMENT\n\nAllowing insight to settle and take root through the body. Rather than a single moment, it continues to unfold through reflection, practice, relationships, and time.\n\nMusic & Creativity\n\nTaking you through a creative journey is central to how we work. Music acts as a guide throughout the process, supporting movement, emotion, reflection, and release. There are moments of stillness, reflection, emotional depth, and gentle movement through different inner states.\n\nThe musical arc is carefully curated and intentional, designed to hold and support you as you move through your own experience. Alongside this, we invite gentle forms of creative exploration through movement, artmaking, imagination and expression, offering ways to engage with what emerges beyond words.\n\nFood & Nourishment\n\nFood is an important part of the retreat experience. Meals are thoughtfully prepared to support grounding, nourishment, restoration, and connection throughout the weekend.\n\nOur chef brings extensive experience working in restaurants and within retreat environments, lovingly creating dishes that are both nourishing and full of character, balancing taste and comfort.\n\nShared meals become part of the rhythm of the weekend: moments to land, reconnect, reflect, and return to the body. \n\nFacilitators \n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/06/18/19/58/45/f21e41a0-353b-4a77-bd27-203c9e90c20a/1000242003.jpg)\n\n**Rebecca Otero Smith**\n\nMBACP · Integrative Psychotherapist (Psychodynamic & Humanistic) · MAPS-trained (MDMA-AT)\n\nRebecca is a UK-trained integrative psychotherapist working at the intersection of trauma-informed therapy, somatic IFS and non-ordinary states of consciousness.
