"description": "Join for a morning to gather and connect to the beautiful power of the drum. \nWe will move through meditation, drumming, singing and sharing.\n\nWe meet monthly upstairs in the Henge Shop in Avebury which has a gorgeous view over the stones come rain or shine. And if the weather is good, we may venture outside for a drum too!\n\nGathering a few days before the Sagittarius new moon and as we head towards the festive season, this will be a lovely opportunity to go inwards, take time for ourselves whilst feeling into that sense of expanse, growth and hope.\n\nAlso in the beginnings of the time of festivities, we'll take a nod towards the idea of deep rest with the Winter Solstice, offering that sense of balance with all of the responsibilities this time of year can also bring, and the breadth of emotions that can come with it too.\n\nNo drumming experience necessary.\n\nDrums/rattles can be provided. If you have your own, you are invited to bring it along so we have more to go round!\n\nDrop me an email at [rootedwithbethan@gmail.com](mailto:rootedwithbethan@gmail.com) if you have any questions.\n\nWould love to drum with you soon! \nBethan xx\n\n**🌿Rooted | Gatherings inspired by the rhythms of nature🌿**\n\n[**Browse all my events here**](https://dandelion.events/o/rooted/events) (sound baths, yoga, drumming circles & more) \nInstagram & Facebook: [@rootedwithbethan](https://www.instagram.com/rootedwithbethan/) \nSubscribe to my mailing list [here](https://dandelion.events/o/rooted). \n(I also hold 1:1 and private events, drop me a message if you'd like to find out more)\n\n**A bit more about me:**\n\nBethan, a yoga, sound and drum circle facilitator, holds spaces to bring people together to ground and gather, whilst having fun and building connection to ourselves and those around us in a way that feels real, welcoming and supportive. \n\nShe came to yoga when she began to fall out of love with the general fitness world, and it has been a huge part of her journey with chronic pain, providing mobility and strength she otherwise may have never had. \n\nHer discovery of sound healing, and then especially when re-discovering the drum, felt like a real homecoming. Not gatekeeping music and sound to the performative world where you have to be “good at it”, instead opening this up for all of us to feel into its transformational power. Bethan believes sound has an unbelievable ability to bring us into presence, release stress and find connection or clarity.\n\nWhether a fluid flow, a restorative sound bath or an energising drumming circle, her offerings take deep inspiration around the lunar cycles and the seasons, as Bethan believes that nature and our land has so much to show us. Hence why outside of these spaces you’ll usually find her in the water, way out in the countryside (likely lost) or drumming around the stones of Avebury!",
