"description": "### _ **Weave The Path ** _\n\n**-Deep Ecology Craft Journey -**\n\n_Weave The Path_ brings together land connection and therapeutic craft to deepen relationships with the natural world. This immersive course encourages participants to reconnect with the earth, unleash creativity and engage in mindful community based textile art. The journey will follow Joanna Macy's four stages; ‘Coming From Gratitude,’ 'Honouring Our Pain for the World,' ‘Seeing With New Eyes’ and ‘Going Forth.’\n\nThe initial part of the course gives space for land connection, to dream up and vision our personal creative projects, through embodied and sensory experiences with the landscape. From this new perspective, we can create our textile art in harmony with our ecology, tuning in with ourselves, crafting mindfully and exploring making as a relational practice. The course prioritises community-building, social connection and restoration. \n\nThe program is an immersive retreat space, located in an off-grid cosy yurt, surrounded by woodland, so you can let go and weave in absolute peace. There's an indoor wood burner to keep us warm, with foraged herbal teas for you to help yourself to. We will be crafting with local fleeces and hedgerow botanical dyes, collecting autumnal dye plants from around the yurt to experiment with the alchemy of the plants that surround us.\n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/07/29/15/38/51/296871e0-d629-4ee6-b603-afdaac826022/69f32e46-1b5a-4d80-ac81-9b16bf35bd93.jpeg)\n\n \n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/07/30/13/25/14/115d98cc-466a-4b66-aa4f-e13f2057356e/88abb032-0895-4874-b1af-8c09a43d968a.jpeg)\n_Our yurt craft den_\n\n \n\n> **\"The Work That Reconnects** helps people around the world discover and experience their innate connections with each other and the self-healing powers of the web of life, transforming despair and overwhelm into inspired, collaborative action.\" Joanna Macy _ _\n> \n> \n\n_ **What is it?** _\n\nA journey aimed to reduce climate anxiety through Joanna Macy’s ‘Active Hope’ pathway.\n\nCrafting as a resistance to the speed of the world.\n\nA chance for inner creativity to be experienced through connection with the more-than-human.\n\nA playful, experiential and embodied course.\n\nThe chance to make a piece of work that is woven through relationship and meaning.\n\nA community based creative craft journey.\n\nA container for ecological connection and creative expression.\n\nA supportive environment to build creative confidence and community action.\n\n_ **Who is it for?** _\n\nIf you are interested in a personal journey through regenerative craft and ecology.\n\nIf you are worried about climate crisis and want to explore your emotions within a compassionate group who understand.\n\nIf you are looking to slow down, reflect and mindfully make.\n\nFor those who desire being held within a weekly creative container.\n\nIf you want support with wellbeing and mental health through being in a community group.\n\nIf you are curious to deepen connection with yourself, each other and the landscape.\n\n \n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/07/29/08/30/28/3c7668bf-c7a9-426e-8fea-b6adbb25e81e/4c71704c-1856-4ded-b765-3c1e3073b093.jpeg)\n\n_ **Course Info** _\n\n_ ** Dates:** _\n\n_ **This creative craft journey is 20 hours of weekly craft nights plus a 7 hr weekend immersion.** _\n\n** Mon 7th Sep - Mon 23rd Nov**\n\n**Course Times: 18.30-20.30**\n\n_ (no sessions on 12/13th + 19/20th Oct)_\n\n_(Course includes one weekend day on Sat 28th)_\n\n_ **Location:** _ _All sessions will take place in the beautiful yurt, this is the pin for the car park, which is a few meters from the yurt._ [**https://maps.app.goo.gl/t1NhT5X6hCBkRDPq8**](https://maps.app.goo.gl/t1NhT5X6hCBkRDPq8)_ _\n\n \n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/07/29/08/43/57/163ca4ff-0273-4dfd-9e0c-6dda8a99d1e4/c72da427-0191-40f4-826f-6362732bb151.jpeg)\n_The Work That Reconnects spiral_\n\n_ **Course details** _\n\n**Crafts available:** Spinning with fleece, over 8 hedgerow dye colours, tapestry weaving on a simple frame.
