"description": "We begin by finding our own way into more freedom in movement. From there, the movement finds its own form, until it can clearly express something of personal significance - perhaps showing us something about our selves, our depths, our world...\n\nUsing Alex's \"[Art of Free Movement](https://www.alex-crowe.uk/)\" somatic approach to creative movement practice, the day offers a carefully structured and guided progression designed to support you to:\n\n- find ease, aliveness and pleasure in the moving body\n- build confidence in finding a flow of free, authentic movement\n- develop clarity of form and expression\n- connect with imagination and depth\n- allow meaning and insight to emerge\n- support and connect with others.\n\nAll welcome (over 18).\n\nI am also offering a small weekly closed group, and 1:1 movement sessions - please contact me (aewcrowe@yahoo.co.uk) if this is of interest.\n\n_\"Nourishing, surprising and fun...left me feeling connected and resourced.\"_\n\n_\"Alex's sense of play and curiosity is matched by a depth of personal practice, experience and eloquence - delightfully collaborative and exploratory.\"_\n\nAlex Crowe has been exploring and sharing movement and dance since 1998, developing a practice influenced by teachers including Suprapto Suryodarmo, Sandra Reeve, Stephanie Skura and by a range of somatic and performance practices.
