"description": "## **Cuddle Movie nights hosted by DE-E's space.**\n\n### Tuesday 17th November \n\nThis is a ‘front room’ movie hosted by DE-E's Space. \n \nWould you like an evening to snuggle, enjoy food and make new friends sharing platonic touch? \nAnd, if you wish to have input into the movie choice, please, join the WhatsApp group which will be sent in the confirmation email.\n\nArrival: Doors open at 6:45pm - you can arrive any time up until 7:45pm \nSocialising and Pot-luck food (Please, bring something to share) starts around 7pm \n7:45pm - Doors close and a short opening circle, to drop into our desires. \nMovie starts around 8pm \nFinishing at around 10pm, depending on movie length.\n\nPeople can depart then, or hang around for dessert and more socialising. \nThere will also be the option to stay over, either for platonic cuddle sleeping, or individual sleeping arrangements. \n**Nothing sexual, or you will be asked to leave.**\n\nPlease, leave quietly so as not to disturb neighbours :D\n\nThe event is sober, clothed, and non-sexual, non-dating or pickup. People of all genders are invited to snuggle with each other, whilst respecting each other's preferences and boundaries. Safety and comfort are the priority. Caring for consent is required at all times. \n \n_ **No touch is required if that is where you find yourself** , you can come for the company and voicing your ‘No’ is even more important than your ‘Yes’._\n\nThe film will be decided on by the group - either in the WhatsApp chat beforehand or whilst sharing potluck food just before the movie :) \n\n| \n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2025/10/10/12/15/03/2ff3cc37-13de-4f6a-ba73-ac2c6d19bb44/IMG_20251009_135838162.jpg)\n_Cuddle Movie Space_\n | \n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2025/10/10/20/59/53/d6d3ad05-7063-4045-b6e7-f9d1091b7e64/IMG_20250916_195948595.jpg)\n_Lovely food_\n |\n| Room for up to 14… | And potluck food |\n\n \n\n### DE-E\n\nEvent host, author/narrator, wellbeing, and finance coach.\n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2024/11/13/19/43/29/efb40ceb-549a-481e-be2b-9c5fb6cee9f9/Dom.jpeg)\n\nDE-E is focused on helping people connect with themselves and each other by creating spaces where people feel safe to drop into their authentic selves. \nHe believes that by creating spaces with various connection-based activities, in a held environment, it gives people the chance to explore and ask for their desires and to query their past stories and traumas to see what still serves and what it is time to ‘thank’ and let go of to embrace a new way of being. \n\nDE-E's aim is to both follow for himself, and facilitate for others, a journey of continuous learning, exploring boundaries, and pushing beyond them in a contained way to achieve emotional, physical, and relational growth. \n\nHe follows interests in wellbeing, mental health, breathwork, cold-water exposure, cuddling, playing, play-fighting, sober activities and more - during the summer can often be found in various roles at festivals.\n\nHis exploration into wellbeing, has led him to create a series of sleep enhancing audio books called Drift Into Understanding, to help drop into a deeper relaxed sleep faster, reset the body to homeostasis and reduce short term dopamine hunting tendencies. \nThe books look at \nLighthouses, Bridges, Financial Independence - [available now](https://amzn.to/4wz0tLV) \nGut Microbiome - Available September 2026 \nMycelium - Available November 2026 \nIntimate Communication - Available January 2027 \n \nDE-E also offers _financial wellbeing coaching_, based on the [Rebel Finance School principles](https://rebeldonegans.com/finance/rfs/course-notes/).\n\nDE-E has hosted cuddle movies in Bristol since 2023. \n\n### Volunteering in Ukraine\n\nIn November 2025 I went to Kyiv to support a few different organisations, one whom I worked with the most was Ant's Kitchen. \nThey are a brilliant friendly bunch of people and I can highly recommend volunteering with them. They create rations for small front line units, providing a vital service with supplies to keep the soldiers going - these soldiers may not otherwise get such nutritious meals.\n\nIf you are interested in supporting them - you can give them a one off donation, or set up a regular one here - [Support here](https://buymeacoffee.com/ants_kyiv) \nIf you are able to help remotely with English teaching, this may be of interest to you - [LINK](https://www.volunteeringukraine.com/en/volunteer-opportunities/go-global-ngo)\n\n| \n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2025/12/30/08/56/18/67cf99f9-bf9a-4c2d-b7d9-ebd6aae042e0/IMG_20251124_105842177.jpg)\n_Working on the kitchen production line, bagging up a dried meal_\n | \n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2025/12/30/08/56/23/fade5307-748f-4179-ac1a-5c44276c7014/IMG_20251122_162906744.jpg)\n_An example of dried rations - this is homemade trail mix_\n |\n\nI am available to give talks around the experience, with money raised going to support their mission. \n#leadership, #teamwork, #resilience ... \nIf you know of a school or organisation who may be interested, please, do put them in touch.\n\nPlease, message for more details, or any questions.\n\n### **Accessibility and Inclusion**\n\nThe flat is on the third floor and there is no lift. Attendees will need to be able to climb/descend the stairs. All activities are an invitation: there is a culture of participating in ways that work for you, and participants are requested to be open to accommodating each other's needs.\n\nNeuro-spiciness is welcome - we are all wonderful and unique individuals. \n\nPeople of any ethnicity, cultural background, class, age, sex, gender, sexual orientation, relationship structure, body type, physical ability, neurodiversity etc. are welcome at DE-E's Spaces! \n\n### **Tickets**\n\nPlease, do cancel your ticket if you are not able to make it, so that DE-E knows who to expect and to free up a space for someone else as room is limited.",
