"description": "**Monday 16th November, 6-7pm** (If you can't make this date, I have listed other available dates below!) \nIn the Yurt, Jolly Nice, Frampton Mansell, Stroud, GL6 8HZ\n\n🌿\n\n**Perhaps you have heard of the wonders of yoga or the transformational power that sound can have? ** \nWhether you are looking to try something new, have tried one but not the other, or would simply love a space to enjoy them both, come along to leave feeling inspired, refreshed and buzzing with energy (possibly literally!).\n\nBoth of these practices have been huge parts of my life, in overcoming chronic pain, and finding my voice and strength again, so I am so excited to share these short but jam-packed sessions with you to experience for yourself. \n\n🌿\n\nJoin us this Autumn for 1 hour sessions to tap into the rhythms of nature, both through physical movement and the vibration of drumming together.\n\nWe will start with a short yoga flow, weaving breathwork, fluid movement and longer held stretches to ease out any tension in the body and to get some energy moving.\n\nFrom here, we will move from the more physical movement into sound, where we'll drum together to feel into our collective rhythm and power.\n\n🌿\n\n**All are welcome** , there is no need to have any experience or to be ‘good’ or musical!\n\nWithin the yoga practice, there are always options for everyone. When we're drumming, it's not about playing to a particular beat/rhythm, rather it's just drumming with whichever intention we would like to work with and allowing it to flow.\n\n🌿\n\nDrums/rattles will be provided. If you have your own, you are invited to bring it along so we have more to go round!\n\nAs with most of my events, these will all take inspiration from the other rhythms of nature - the seasons, lunar cycles and more.\n\nIf you have any questions at all, feel free to message Bethan at [rootedwithbethan@gmail.com](mailto:rootedwithbethan@gmail.com)\n\n**Available dates, all 6-7pm: ** \nMonday 5th October \nMonday 16th November\n\nSee you soon, \nBethan x\n\n \n\n🌿 **Rooted | Gatherings inspired by the rhythms of nature** 🌿\n\n[**Browse all my events here**](https://dandelion.events/o/rooted/events) (sound baths, yoga, drumming circles & more) \nInstagram & Facebook: [@rootedwithbethan](https://www.instagram.com/rootedwithbethan/) \nSubscribe to my mailing list [here](https://dandelion.events/o/rooted).\n\n(I also hold 1:1 and private events, drop me a message if you'd like to find out more)\n\n**A bit more about me:**\n\nBethan, a yoga, sound and drum circle facilitator, holds spaces to bring people together to ground and gather, whilst having fun and building connection to ourselves and those around us in a way that feels real, welcoming and supportive. \n\nShe came to yoga when she began to fall out of love with the general fitness world, and it has been a huge part of her journey with chronic pain, providing mobility and strength she otherwise may have never had. \n\nHer discovery of sound healing, and then especially when re-discovering the drum, felt like a real homecoming. Not gatekeeping music and sound to the performative world where you have to be “good at it”, instead opening this up for all of us to feel into its transformational power. Bethan believes sound has an unbelievable ability to bring us into presence, release stress and find connection or clarity.\n\nWhether a fluid flow, a restorative sound bath or an energising drumming circle, her offerings take deep inspiration around the lunar cycles and the seasons, as Bethan believes that nature and our land has so much to show us. Hence why outside of these spaces you’ll usually find her in the water, way out in the countryside (likely lost) or drumming around the stones of Avebury!",
