We do this by drawing on traditions from all around the world. Whatever your spiritual background and beliefs, you will learn how to deepen _your_ path through Circling. \n\nThe field we create at depth for three days will be our greatest aid and most profound teacher.\n\nWhat's included:\n\n- **Short readings and poetry** from the contemplative tradition\n- A **coaching session** (included with your ticket) to root your Circling practice into your personal growth edge and spiritual path\n- Each day begins with quiet hours for **meditation, prayer, and contemplation**\n- **Activities, teaching, and discussion blocks** help us explore and grow as practitioners\n- **Six meals** , snacks, tea, and coffee\n- Live together in **Circling consciousness** for three days\n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/08/24/21/43/16/3fa0142d-e8b8-458c-811d-5856aad1dd73/db11feba-fc77-4184-8086-69dd4f90cc7a.jpeg)\n\n> I love The Container podcast and its crew. They’re playing on an important edge and bringing a lot of innovation and heart… I highly recommend them as community leaders and podcasters, and see them as pioneers leading us into a future that we want to create for ourselves and the generations to come.\n> \n> —Sean Wilkinson, co-founder of Transformational Connection\n\n## Practices & Lifestyle\n\nOur home will be the Mountain Light Retreat Center. This allows us to encounter the mystical heart of Circling surrounded by the breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountains.\n\n- **Circle in an old mission church:** The location calls us to the sacred, both by the wonder of the natural world and the ongoing spiritual purpose of the buildings.\n- **Morning quiet time:** This provides open time to drop in with yourself using whatever methods feel true to you and your path. That might be meditation, reading, prayer, hiking, and more.\n- **Activity, teaching, and discussion:** We set aside time to hone your skills and foster insights into Circling using our intellect.\n- **Take walks on the nature trail:** On-site nature trails give you a way to drop in with nature, whether on your own or with others.\n- **Spend time in cozy gathering spaces:** During non-practice hours, there are plenty of relaxing venues to bond, connect, and discuss.\n- **Walk the outdoor and indoor labyrinths:** Take part in the ancient contemplative practice of walking labyrinths as you hold Circling consciousness.\n- **Readings and coaching:** If you've wondered about the mystical heart of the Circling practice but never had a chance to dive into it, this is it.\n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/08/24/21/43/45/f6e34683-8676-4de0-bb50-f08c9b982312/7c227f12-42b8-4f42-868b-fbcf1bb33461.jpeg)\n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/08/24/21/44/00/755542ff-3592-47a1-8266-b4493843ef11/e1420551-79cb-4209-938c-482cc55ed8f6.jpeg)\n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/08/24/21/44/40/3de5f486-3ea2-4677-b7c4-e8e3f87ae43c/IMG_1077.jpeg)\n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/08/24/14/16/32/8710830c-583d-486f-9aa4-c54ebed6d3d7/IMG_1084.jpeg)\n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/08/24/14/16/31/e5fedee5-59e9-4879-89d8-480272d954cf/IMG_1086.jpeg)\n\n## **Food & Accommodations**\n\nMeals, snacks, tea, and coffee are included.\n\nWi-Fi is provided. _But there is no cell service at the location._\n\nAccommodations include private rooms and shared rooms with two beds each.\n\nWhen you buy a ticket, you will be placed in a room with a roommate (see photo below). His passion for the esoteric, religious, and academic, produces a distinctly original and wide-ranging body of work. In facilitation, Jonathan holds emergent spaces where Being can reflect on itself with love. This approach places Circling inside that oldest story of humanity: turning to union with the divine. |\n| \n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/08/24/21/02/27/aab37fea-21ba-4909-8d17-0202613d6be2/de21f7e6-cfb3-44a5-aa41-39bed5c15999.jpeg)\n | **Sigh Goldsmith ** is a Circling facilitator, podcast host, and death doula. Her practice delves into the strange and ancient work of becoming more available to life. Years of contemplative, relational, and death practices have formed her approach which is both deeply grounding and magically expansive. Sigh creates spaces that allow us to open to the moment, soften our defenses, and discover the unknown together. |\n| \n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/08/24/21/05/11/69ab82be-395b-4c6a-ab66-b7143e41803a/b9e8da28-6eca-4d03-904c-82ccbe359d2f.jpeg)\n | **Hannah Hellsing** is a licensed therapist, spiritual development coach, and Circling facilitator in the Transformational Connection lineage. Hannah’s Circling practice is grounded by both love and courage, as she seeks the liberation of authenticity made possible by impeccable containers and radical self-responsibility.
