"description": "Welcome to the Movement for Well-Being online sessions for women. \n\nThis chance to connect, share, relax, listen to the body, dance and reflect. \n\nWe want to support women who need to take space for well-being. Everyone is welcome and we particularly encourage you if you have caring responsibilities, need space to integrate emotions, wish to widen freedom of movement, or to enliven the creativity inside of yourself. \n\nLed by Leela Fisk (Devon School of Soul Motion), this series has run since March 2020 and sessions run as a committed series over each academic term. \n\n**What happens in a session?**\n\nWe begin with an opening share, giving everyone a chance to say hello, arrive and ground in the group.\n\nFrom there, we move into around 45–50 minutes of guided and self-directed movement and dance.\n\nTowards the end, we meet in breakout rooms in pairs for around 10 minutes, with space to explore movement and sound while being witnessed by another person, and to offer that witnessing in return.\n\nWe then come back together to close the session as a group.\n\n**Autumn 2026 Dates:** \n6 fortnightly Wednesday mornings 10am-11.45am \n23 September \n7 & 21 October \n4 & 18 November \n2 December\n\n**Times: ** \n10-11.40am, then Leela stays back until 11.45am for confidential shares or general questions. \n \n**Investment:** \n£60 (low income) – £120 (supporter) per participant based on your income. Drag the slider when you select the ticket to choose what you pay. \nFull bursaries for those in need. \n \nThanks to **National Lottery funding** , we’re able to offer **a number of fully funded and sliding-scale places for this series.** \n**Current funding of our grant only covers the first half of the series until October, and we’re contributing ourselves to extend this support across the whole series.**\n\nIf you’re able to contribute towards your place, even a small amount, please do — it helps us keep these spaces available and makes the funding go further.\n\n_If you book a bursary place, please let us know if you are unable to attend, so that others can have the space. _\n\n**\\*Women: ** \nFor the purposes of the intended group, content and funding we secured, in this series by 'women' we mean cis women and those assigned female at birth who identify as gender non-binary/gender fluid.\n\n#### **About Leela Fisk**\n\nI bring 17 years experience of facilitating community dance, over 3000 facilitating hours of supporting personal and collective expressions in non-competitive atmospheres with care. I'm informed by my training with the School of Soul Motion, studies with Anna Halprin and colleagues along with various somatic movement practices. I have been working in education since 2000. \n\nI also lead a Level 1 Personal Embodiment and Level 2 Facilitator Training for the Devon School of Soul Motion along with other ongoing groups for women and families locally in Totnes as part of Movement for Life community group, Totnes Dance Collective and other initiatives.\n\nIf we've never met, you can meet me and community here: [https://vimeo.com/450821255](https://vimeo.com/450821255)\n\nPlease feel welcome to join, any questions be in touch.\n\n[www.leelafisk.com](http://www.leelafisk.com)\n\n[www.devonschoolsoulmotion.org](http://www.devonschoolsoulmotion.org)\n\n#### **Cancellation Policy**\n\nIf you’re unable to attend after payment:\n\n- No refunds are available.\n- However, you may transfer your place to someone else — provided they start by the second session.",
