"description": "Join us for a cosy session of crafting around the fire at the magical location of [Plot 9 Maze Hill](http://www.plot9mazehill.com). A little oasis of community and calm in South East London. \n\nWhether it's knitting, crochet, weaving or any other fibre craft you're into, bring a project you are working on, or just come along, get inspired and try something new! Knitting kits and instruction can be provided.\n\nKnitting and other hand crafts bring us together in a relaxed, welcoming space around the nourishing atmosphere of the fire. Crafting side by side encourages conversation, connection, and a sense of belonging and working with our hands is calming and grounding. A gentle break from everyday stress while creating something meaningful. \n\nEveryone is welcome — no experience needed. Come along, connect, and create together.\n\nWe would like to offer a few places for free to those who can’t afford the minimum amount, if this is you please email us to join for free. This ensures our cicle is available to everyone. \n\nPlot 9 has kitchen facilities and a compost loo. There is room to store bikes and pushchairs inside. Plot 9 is sadly not accessilble to wheelchairs users due to the drop from the road and split levels.\n\n[Follow Plot 9 on Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/plot9mazehill).\n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/01/25/11/19/50/e0d37e26-3c2c-4e51-9196-67706b139e9f/WhatsApp Image 2024-08-12 at 08.58.53_d63b6c4c.jpg)",
