"description": "You are invited to an evening of Conscious Connected Breathwork and Shamanic Journeying.\n\nWhy? Because we all deserve a more easeful dance with our shadows, a richer embodiment of our radiant truth and an deeper connection with flow and abundance!\n\n**Conscious Connected Breathwork** \nConscious Connected Breathwork is a transformative self-healing practice that supports physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness. The practice can help you:\n\n- Develop self-awareness, acceptance and compassion.\n- Nurture a sense of grounding, presence and calm.\n- Access, release and better understand emotions that may be blocked, stuck or dormant\n- Better manage anxiety and stress.\n- Prevent burnout\n- Enhance focus and mental clarity.\n- Open a connection to spirituality and the divine.\n\nIn life there are so many times, places, and societal cues that tell us we should suppress or control our emotions. Fully expressing sadness, grief and anger might be considered taboo. Embodying joy, happiness, and excitement might be deemed too loud. Each time we dial down our full expression we deny ourselves a connection with our truth, our fullness. Un- expressed emotion - “energy in motion” – is held in the body and interrupts mental, physical, emotional and spiritual flow. This often leads to a state of imbalance that ultimately impacts our quality of life.\n\nThese sessions are an invitation to soften, release and let go of deeply ingrained patterns of thought, behaviour and being that may have prevented stepping into your full potential. As the relationship with the breath deepens so too does the relationship with self, as you are guided to a place of self-compassion, acceptance, forgiveness and love.\n\nSessions include optional acupressure body mapping, which helps release tension and emotions that are held in the body, and allows energy to flow more freely. Participants are also invited to explore guided movement and sound, to allow space for the previously un-expressed to be expressed, to release built up energy, and to deepen the connection with the breath.\n\n**Guided shamanic journeying:-** \nModern day core shamanism has its roots in the same methodologies as ancient and indigenous shamanic practices. How they are applied and \npracticed might differ, but the intent remains the same, to access our teachers and guides in non-ordinary reality, to access their wisdom and \nknowledge, to heal those in need in this reality. This includes the healing of our natural world and to help us walk in balance with the Earth.\n\nWe would like to make this practice available to all communities, lifting the notions of mystery, and emphasizing our respect for all of the natural world recognizing our embedded relationship, we are the earth, the earth is us.\n\nThis guided shamanic journey will complement and enhance the healing experience received through the breathwork practice.\n\nThese sessions are trauma informed, and everything is an invitation. It’s a privilege to share this work, and our goal is to create spaces of safety and healing, and support a society where people thrive rather than simply survive.\n\n**You will need:** \n1. Warm clothes and socks/slippers & a blanket to cover you whilst \nlying down \n2. Water bottle \n3. Notepad and pencil \n4. Warm outdoor clothes to gather by the fire \n5. Bandana, light scarf or eye cover\n\n**Health considerations** \nWhile breathwork can benefit many individuals, there are certain conditions where caution or avoidance may be necessary. Please be aware that the following conditions are contraindicated \nfor Conscious Connected Breathing: \n1. History of seizures or epilepsy. \n2. First Trimester of Pregnancy. \n3. Detached retina or any eye condition which can be adversely affected by changes in internal pressure. \n4. Psychotic episodes.\n\nIt is also important for us to discuss: \n5. Uncontrolled hypertension. \n6. Angina / Cardiovascular disease. \n7. High blood pressure \n8. Heart attack / stroke \n9. Arrythmia\n\nIf you have any question feel free to get in touch on 07949 742 055",
