"description": "**Conscious Connected Breathwork hosted by Dave**\n\nWhether you are a seasoned breather, or a first-timer, you are warmly welcome to this conscious connected breathwork session held in the beautiful christian community in Stroud with a surround sound system of emotive music and optional touch to support your opening and release. \n\n**Flow of the session:**\n\n- Arrive 5.50 for 6pm start\n- Movement Activation\n- Check-in & Intention Sharing\n- 30-45 Breathe\n- Integration\n- Tea, Nibbles & Sharing\n\n**About the breath**\n\nConscious connected breathwork is a type of breathwork that focuses on inhaling and exhaling continuously. There are different modifications of the practice depending on the intensity you desire and your personal needs. You will be guided at the start of the session with the different variations so you can make the practice suit you. If you are experiencing anxiety or intensity in your life it is possible to do the practice in a way that does not stimulate the sympathetic nervous system. I will not be pushing you at all and will encourage you to listen to your own body wisdom. The speed of the practice is completely self directed, so whilst being held in the circle you can choose your own rhythm. \n\n**Benefits**\n\nThere are many well recognised benefits to breathwork but ultimately it is unique to each individual so you are invited and encouraged to bring your own personal intention to the session. Whether you’re exploring emotionality, physicality or spirituality, there will be space to share and integrate – both individually and together within the circle.\n\n**Breathwork benefits can include:**\n\n- Reduced stress, anxiety and anger\n- Healing of trauma and PTSD\n- Increased focus, energy, clarity and resilience\n- Re-igniting aliveness and healing numbness/apathy\n- Emotional release and deeper self-connection\n\n**Physical benefits may include:**\n\n- Better sleep\n- Improved mood\n- Healthier respiration\n- Nervous system regulation\n- Lower blood pressure and improved heart health\n- Boosted metabolism and digestion\n- Enhanced brain activity, concentration & focus\n\nAs with any practise there are contraindications to practising breathwork. I shall list them here and if you are experiencing any of these (or anything else you feel may be relevant) please message me via phone or email directly (contact details below) before booking the session so we can see if breathwork is suitable for you / adjust your practise accordingly.\n\nIf anything is on your mind at all - please mention it. You will not be met with any judgement and it will stay confidential.\n\n**Contraindications:**\n\n- Epilepsy or seizures\n- Heart conditions or arrhythmia\n- High blood pressure\n- Low blood pressure with a history of fainting\n- Delicate pregnancy\n- Bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or psychosis\n- Untreated or severe PTSD\n- Pre-existing lung disease\n- Recent major surgery\n- Glaucoma or detached retina\n- Severe osteoporosis\n\n**About your host**\n\n**Dave ** is a trauma informed conscious connected breathwork facilitator trained with Steph Magenta in the dual-accredited UKBA recognised ‘7 directions breathwork’ school. He is also certified as a pranayama facilitator, yoga teacher and bodyworker. He has been practicing breathwork almost daily for 8 years, supporting individuals for 5 and running groups for a few years. He has a lot of experience managing intense emotions, catharsis, energetic release and kundalini both through his own journey and through supporting others to release through breathwork and plant medicine. His journey with breathwork began after 10 sessions of rebirthing that transformed his life so radically he felt impelled to train and offer the healing power of breath to others. He has a passion for holding beautiful, nourishing, deep and enriching spaces for people to explore themselves from a place of grounded presence and nervous system regulation. The foundation of all his offerings rest in deep presence, nervous system grounding, freedom of expression, non-judgement and individual empowerment.\n\n \n\nThank you for reading!\n\nLooking forward to breathing together.\n\nIf you would like to join the stroud breathwork whatsapp group here is the link : \n\n[https://chat.whatsapp.com/EZmajRTZ3H12sfzMVtF8YW?s=cl&p=i&mlu=4&ilr=4](https://chat.whatsapp.com/EZmajRTZ3H12sfzMVtF8YW?s=cl&p=i&mlu=4&ilr=4)\n\nWith love, \nDave\n\n \n\n**Contact:**\n\n07432037055\n\ndowntoearthdave@gmail.com",
