Leave questioning what you thought you knew about death, the ancestors and the unseen world.**\n\n You can read [our ticket terms and conditions](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ZSdrUX0V00eRRVd_brA3aKdIZYJ0307f5qk2icIuSdE/edit?tab=t.0) here. \n\n### ABOUT YOUR GUIDE\n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/09/22/15/36/28/48ea0f96-4a78-49de-8260-94fb90abedc8/8972de84-d3c6-4263-a1ce-377564b6d815.jpeg)\n\n### \n\n### **DARREN LE BARON**\n\n**Darren** is an ethnomycologist, educator and psychedelic researcher based between the UK, Caribbean and Africa. His work explores the relationships between fungi, psychedelic traditions, ancient cultures, mythology, ritual and humanity’s enduring connection with the natural and ancestral worlds.\n\nAlongside his work in mycology, Darren has spent years researching **ethnomycology, ancient African plant medicines, psychedelic traditions, ancestral practices, mythology and mystery systems**. His research has taken him across Africa and beyond, learning from traditional communities and exploring how cultures throughout history have understood altered states of consciousness, initiation, death, rebirth, the spirit world and our relationship with the ancestors.\n\nDarren is a dynamic international speaker and educator. He is a member and presenter with the London Psychedelic Society and a chair and committee member of Breaking Convention. He has also presented at the Detroit Psychedelic Conference, All Things Fungi, Ozora, Noisily, Lightning in a Bottle and numerous gatherings around the world.\n\nAt the heart of Darren’s work is a fascination with the knowledge humanity has inherited from those who came before us — and what ancient traditions, fungi, plants, ritual and altered states of consciousness might teach us about **life, death, transformation and our relationship with the unseen world**.\n\n[@daren\\_le\\_baron](https://www.instagram.com/darren_le_baron/)\n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/09/22/17/25/07/e0e0ee3f-46ac-4dd2-9632-63b50fd7091c/a8c5b24c-ce41-41ca-b200-f6a42c43a1fd.jpeg)\n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/09/22/17/23/57/b3ee07c6-4bac-4e84-86b2-13fb15ff3b9c/d28b2b51-4ff7-44c4-9ba1-27615bf51580.jpeg)\n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/09/22/17/24/05/7c191d70-8c8a-47ab-907c-d2d8f1ccf3ac/775b8398-e36d-433f-801b-8c4d3fdba615.jpeg)",
