"description": "#### **Reflection Sound Therapy:** An invitation to ground as the darkness deepens\n\n \n\nMid-autumn is here, and the darkness is increasing day by day. The veil between light and shadow grows thinner, and the season calls us downward, into our roots. This Reflection Sound Therapy Session invites you to ground deeply as the external light fades, to examine what this darkening season stirs within you, and to find stability in the growing shadows. Through the resonant tones of sound and guided self-inquiry, you'll be supported to root yourself in what's solid, to reflect on what this inward turn reveals, and to trust the grounding power of autumn's deepening hold.\n\nThis is a 90-minute Reflection Sound Therapy session held at St Anne's Church in Easton, Bristol.\n\nRooted in the BAST Method, developed by the British Academy of Sound Therapy and woven through with the Cooper Sax 5Rs Model of Experiential Processing, this is sound as inquiry, not just rest. You don't just float through it. You leave with something real.\n\n \n\n**What to Expect Reflection Sound Therapy Session: This is sound as inquiry, not just rest.**\n\nA 90-minute therapeutic group session that goes beneath the surface. Using the resonant tones of any combination of: Gong, Himalayan and or Crystal singing bowls, and gentle percussion, these sessions weave sound with guided self-reflection and mindfulness practices, inviting you to notice, process, and gently shift what's been held below conscious awareness.\n\nWe begin with warm tea and a grounding meditation, move into guided reflection supported by therapeutic sound, and close with integration time and nourishing treats to honour the inner work and bring you gently back to the present. This is sound as inquiry, not just rest.\n\n \n\n**How to Prepare**\n\nPlease bring:\n\n- 🧘‍♀️ A yoga mat, blankets, and pillows\n- 🧦 Warm socks, an eye mask, and hot water bottle (recommended)\n- 💧 A bottle of water to stay hydrated\n- 📓 A little journal to record any thoughts or feelings that may arise\n\nYou'll be invited to make yourself completely comfortable and allow the sound to do the work.\n\n \n\n**The Benefits of Sound Therapy**\n\nThese sessions work on multiple levels. Physically, the sustained resonance of therapeutic sound can support nervous system regulation, helping shift you from fight-or-flight into genuine parasympathetic rest. Mentally and emotionally, spending intentional time in the liminal space between waking and sleep, the same threshold accessed through practices like Yoga Nidra, creates conditions for processing and release that don't require conscious effort or analysis.\n\nWhat people commonly report:\n\n- Deep rest that feels different from sleep, more restorative, more integrative\n- Release of tension (physical, emotional, or both) they didn't realize they were holding\n- A sense of clarity or perspective that emerges without forcing it\n- Feeling more present, grounded, and like themselves again\n\nEach experience is unique, the sound meets you exactly where you are, and what shifts will be what's ready to shift.\n\n \n\n**What makes these sessions different from other sound baths?**\n\nThese aren't just sessions to relax in, though you will. Trained through the British Academy of Sound Therapy, I work with the BAST Method, which pairs therapeutic sound with guided self-reflection and mindfulness practices. This means the sound doesn't just soothe you; it invites you to notice, process, and shift what's been sitting beneath the surface. You leave not just rested, but changed.\n\n \n\n📍 **Location**\n\nSt Anne's Church, Easton \nSt Leonard's Road, Greenbank, Bristol, BS5 6JN\n\n \n\n**Important Information**\n\n**Doors open at 5:45 and will be locked at 6pm for start of session**\n\nFor safety reasons, please contact me before booking if you experience or relate to any of the following:\n\n- Less than 3 months pregnant\n- Metal plates in the body\n- Sound-induced epilepsy or seizures\n- A diagnosis of, or treatment for: clinical depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, dissociative disorders, PTSD, or any serious mental health condition\n- Recent surgery\n- Prone to anaphylaxis\n- Under 18 years of age\n\nSaying yes to any of the above doesn't necessarily mean you can't attend — I just ask for an open conversation beforehand to ensure this experience supports your wellbeing.\n\n \n\n**Exchange**\n\nOffered at a reduced rate of **15 GBP**\n\n \n\n**Invitation**\n\nExperience the healing power of sound and the quiet transformation that follows when we allow ourselves this time and space.\n\n \n\n_Yours_ Inner Adventure Guide_,_ \n**Liz** \nLife & Wellness Coach\n\nSound Therapist \\* Yogini \\* Mountain Leader\n\n[www.inneradventureguide.com](http://www.inneradventureguide.com)",
