"description": "We're approaching Samhain, that sacred threshold where the veil between worlds grows gossamer thin. This is a time to honour what's completed, what's passed, and what's waiting to arrive.\n\nThis Relaxation Sound Therapy Session invites you to rest at this liminal space, to acknowledge the full cycle of the year's turning, and to transition with grace from one phase to the next. Through the healing power of sound, you'll be guided into deep restoration, held in the wisdom of completion and the gentle courage of what's to come.\n\nThis is a moment to be still, to honour both the ending and the beginning.deep restoration, a space where opposites meet and your nervous system can settle into the balance the season offers. This is a moment to pause, to integrate, and to prepare for what comes next.\n\n \n\n**What to Expect Relaxation Sound Therapy Session: This is purposeful rest, the kind that shifts something.**\n\nA 60-minute therapeutic session designed to guide you into, and hold you in, the liminal space between waking and sleep, where your nervous system can fully shift into rest and digest. Using intentionally composed sound sequences with any combination of Gong, Himalayan and or Crystal singing bowls, and gentle percussion, these sessions aren't just relaxing background sound, they're BAST-informed therapeutic compositions that create and sustain the conditions for deep parasympathetic activation.\n\nWe begin with warm tea and a short grounding meditation before you're immersed in carefully structured sound designed to keep you in that powerful threshold state. After the soundwork, there's time to integrate the experience quietly before closing with nourishing treats to gently ground you back into the present. This is purposeful rest, the kind that shifts something.\n\n \n\n**How to Prepare**\n\nPlease bring:\n\n- 🧘‍♀️ A yoga mat, blankets, and pillows\n- 🧦 Warm socks, an eye mask, and hot water bottle (recommended)\n- 💧 A bottle of water to stay hydrated\n- 📓 A little journal to record any thoughts or feelings that may arise\n\nYou'll be invited to make yourself completely comfortable and allow the sound to do the work.\n\n \n\n**The Benefits of Sound Therapy**\n\nThese sessions work on multiple levels. Physically, the sustained resonance of therapeutic sound can support nervous system regulation, helping shift you from fight-or-flight into genuine parasympathetic rest. Mentally and emotionally, spending intentional time in the liminal space between waking and sleep, the same threshold accessed through practices like Yoga Nidra, creates conditions for processing and release that don't require conscious effort or analysis.\n\nWhat people commonly report:\n\n- Deep rest that feels different from sleep, more restorative, more integrative\n- Release of tension (physical, emotional, or both) they didn't realize they were holding\n- A sense of clarity or perspective that emerges without forcing it\n- Feeling more present, grounded, and like themselves again\n\nEach experience is unique, the sound meets you exactly where you are, and what shifts will be what's ready to shift.\n\n \n\n**What makes these sessions different from other sound baths?**\n\nThese aren't just sessions to relax in, though you will. Trained through the British Academy of Sound Therapy, I work with the BAST Method, which pairs therapeutic sound with guided self-reflection and mindfulness practices. This means the sound doesn't just soothe you; it invites you to notice, process, and shift what's been sitting beneath the surface. You leave not just rested, but changed.\n\n \n\n📍 **Location**\n\nThe Greenhouse, Bedminster \nRelax and unwind in this peaceful, light-filled space tucked into an unexpected corner of Bristol just south of East Street.\n\n \n\n**Important Information**\n\n**Doors open at 6:45 and will be locked at 7pm for start of session**\n\nBefore taking part, please complete the following form online:\n\nFor safety reasons, please contact me before booking if you experience or relate to any of the following:\n\n- Less than 3 months pregnant\n- Metal plates in the body\n- Sound-induced epilepsy or seizures\n- A diagnosis of, or treatment for: clinical depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, dissociative disorders, PTSD, or any serious mental health condition\n- Recent surgery\n- Prone to anaphylaxis\n- Under 18 years of age\n\nSaying yes to any of the above doesn't necessarily mean you can't attend — I just ask for an open conversation beforehand to ensure this experience supports your wellbeing.\n\n \n\n**Exchange**\n\nOffered at a reduced rate of **15 GBP**\n\n \n\n**Invitation**\n\nExperience the healing power of sound and the quiet transformation that follows when we allow ourselves the time and space.\n\n \n\n_Yours_ Inner Adventure Guide_,_ \n**Liz** \nLife & Wellness Coach\n\nSound Therapist \\* Yogini \\* Mountain Leader\n\n[www.inneradventureguide.com](http://www.inneradventureguide.com)",
