"description": "We’d love to invite you to a day of exploration and expression, through meditation, singing/sounding, gentle movement, drumming and sharing.\n\nWelcoming and celebrating the Winter Solstice.\n\nA time where the outer/natural world pauses, offering us a time to retreat inwards, find rest, and reflect. Balanced with the hope and joy that the light will return, and with each other, we can celebrate and move through the depths of Winter.\n\nLooking at Nature throughout the year gives us so much inspiration for how to move with our lives. It reconnects us to our roots, to cyclical living. Here, we can find healing, creativity, deeper intuition and confidence. \n\nAll welcome, no experience needed. If any of this feels outside of your comfort zone, maybe relating to stories of “I can't sing”,\"I'm not musical\", know and trust that you are so so welcome and this space is completely for you.\n\nThere is no prize for sounding ‘good’ or being musically ‘correct’, it's about just gathering to make sound together! And everything is always just an invitation. Your voice matters and our passion is in creating a space to allow judgement to fall away and compassion to flood in. This is a space of authentic expression, not performance. Vision a child, with not a care in the world.\n\n**Reflections from our previous gathering (Autumn Equinox 2026)**\n\nOur Autumn celebration was incredible. A homecoming to Autumn within. We moved our bodies to songs written in the energies of the season. Embodying the transmissions or medicine of the music.\n\nWe sang songs that stoked the fire of our hearts to keep them burning throughout the darker colder months.\n\nWe asked questions and had time with the stones helping us to remember, to dive ever deeper inwards for the answers.\n\nThe rhythm of the inner drumbeat and our inner voices, merging together, weaving a tapestry of sound of all colours and patterns. Our hearts filled with the resonance to carry onwards into our daily lives.\n\nSo, now as we find ourselves in midwinter, we will celebrate this depth of going inwards whilst topping up our inner fires so the light can return again.\n\n**Flow of the day**\n\n☕️Opening circle & meditation \nWe will begin with a cup of tea in hand as we flow through an opening circle together. To welcome ourselves into the space and connect to Autumns innate intelligence, weaving through a meditation to settle and arrive.\n\n💃Free movement to seasonal song \nThrough gentle guidance, we will begin to take some movement, flowing with our natural rhythm of what this season means to us.\n\n🪘Intuitive drumming \nMeandering our way then into a beautiful exploration of what this means through drum and movement. Music and sound can land so differently for us all and this day is about you and your unique expression, voice and emotion, held in a space where we are all exploring that beautiful dynamic & embracing our differences.\n\n🎵Vocal activation \nOpening, softening, releasing, allowing, letting go, welcoming in new energy. Whatever is needed. After a small moment to break, we join together again in our own uniqueness. With the serene sound of the shruti (drone instrument), acting as a comfort blanket for our voices to be heard in their raw, real, authentic expression.\n\n🌳Silent walk around the stones & ancient landscape & 📚Journalling \nAvebury offers incredible grounding energies, with ancient stones and trees and a million stories to tell. Setting the scene for the reflective part of our session together, walking in silence to Autumns teachings, before returning to journal (and share should you feel called) about our experiences.\n\n⭕️Closing circle \nWe will finish our time together with a wonderful drum and song circle, infusing with our intentions for the season ahead. \n \n\nFor any questions, do not hesitate to contact\n\nBethan at [rootedwithbethan@gmail.com](mailto:rootedwithbethan@gmail.com) or\n\nCandie at [ccjohnson1981@gmail.com](mailto:ccjohnson1981@gmail.com) \n\nWe cannot wait for you to join us!\n\nBethan and Candie xx\n\n \n\n \n\n**🌿Rooted | Gatherings inspired by the rhythms of nature🌿**\n\n[**Browse all my events here**](https://dandelion.events/o/rooted/events) (sound baths, yoga, drumming circles & more) \nInstagram & Facebook: [@rootedwithbethan](https://www.instagram.com/rootedwithbethan/) \nSubscribe to my mailing list [here](https://dandelion.events/o/rooted). \n(I also hold 1:1 and private events, drop me a message if you'd like to find out more)",
