"description": "### Introduction:\n\nPerimenopause and menopause can be a time of significant change — physically and emotionally, but also in the way we see ourselves, our relationships, our priorities and the next stage of our lives.\n\nFor many women, it can bring new questions: **Who am I now? What do I need? What might I want the next chapter of my life to look like?**\n\nWe’ve created this intimate four-day retreat for women to step away from everyday life and explore some of those questions in a supportive and nurturing environment.\n\nAlongside a carefully supported psilocybin experience, we’ll explore this stage of life through conversation, reflection and practical approaches to wellbeing, including nutrition, movement, breathwork, meditation and nervous-system regulation.\n\nThere will also be plenty of time simply to slow down, connect with other women, enjoy nourishing food and be looked after for a change.\n\nRather than approaching perimenopause and menopause only as something to endure or fix, we want to create space to understand it better — with **curiosity, knowledge, connection and a little more acceptance.**\n\n### **Interested or have a question?**\n\n**Contact us to check availability or ask any questions before deciding whether the retreat is right for you.**\n\n**Website:** https://anewdayretreats.com/ \n**Email:** [team@anewdayretreats.com](mailto:team@anewdayretreats.com)\n\n### **About This Retreat**\n\nThis four-day retreat creates space to explore this stage of life through **learning, reflection, connection and experience**.\n\nWe’ll explore practical areas of wellbeing including nutrition, sleep, movement, strength and nervous-system regulation, alongside breathwork, meditation, yoga and time in nature.\n\nAt the heart of the retreat is a carefully prepared and supported **psilocybin ceremony**. There is no single way to experience this stage of life, and by bringing together women at different points in their journey, we can also learn from each other’s experiences and perspectives.\n\n### **What We’ll Explore**\n\n- Perimenopause, menopause and this stage of life\n- Identity, priorities and **“what comes next?”**\n- Nutrition and practical ideas to take home\n- Sleep, movement and strength as foundations of wellbeing\n- Stress, resilience and nervous-system regulation\n- Breathwork, meditation and mindfulness\n- Intention, presence and the psychedelic experience\n- Reflection and integration\n- Connection and shared experience with other women\n\n \n\n* * *\n\n \n\n### **The Psychedelic Experience**\n\nThe retreat includes a carefully prepared and supported **psilocybin ceremony**.\n\nBeforehand, we’ll explore **set and setting** , with space for you to consider your own intention and approach the experience with openness rather than expectation.\n\nThe following day, we’ll create space for **reflection and integration** — both individually and together as a group — considering what the experience may mean for you and what, if anything, you would like to carry forward into everyday life.\n\nEvery psychedelic experience is different. Our role isn’t to direct your journey or promise a particular outcome, but to create a safe, supportive setting in which your own experience can unfold.\n\n \n\n* * *\n\n \n\n### **What’s Included**\n\n- 3 nights’ accommodation at our retreat in Alicante\n- Carefully prepared and supported psilocybin ceremony\n- Perimenopause and menopause workshops and discussions\n- Preparation and space to consider your personal intention\n- Integration and sharing during the retreat\n- Breathwork, meditation and yoga\n- Guided mindfulness nature walk and reflective practices\n- Nourishing, menopause-friendly vegetarian and vegan food options\n- Practical wellbeing and nutrition resources to take home\n- Pre-retreat screening, welcome and preparation guides\n- Pick-up and drop-off options available — details discussed when booking",
