"description": "**Adventures in Art, Awareness and Lucid Dreaming.**\n\nYou are personally invited to our \"Dragon-hearted Dreaming\" Solstice retreat to explore Dreaming, Courage, and Creativity. Discover how connection with your dragon-hearted inner dreamer can guide you to live your most creative life. This is the perfect opportunity to build resilience through nature connection, feeling into that fiery solstice, and stepping bravely into the next half of the year. \n\nImagine life with a Dragon by your side! In these challenging and uncertain times, cultivating a strong relationship with our dream life can be great resource. \n\nDreams have long been revered as a source of guidance, available to us all. Dreaming in community is especially powerful. This retreat will bring us together as a supportive group of dreamers, for shared adventures in art, nature and dreaming, with plenty to play with, whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned practitioner. You will learn how to boost dream recall, incubatate dream answers to questions and learn how to become lucid in the dream world. Take the time to get closer to this mysterious part of yourself through practices designed to stoke your creative fires, give you agency and sense of adventure, all in the service of integration, self-knowledge and making our world a kinder place.\n\nDuring the retreat, we will delight in ritual feasts, swim in the lake, steam in the Wild Quarry Spa, and journey through the enchanting Mossy Trail. Our playground is the Owl Queen’s Mossy Realm—Retallack Woodlands in Cornwall—a truly magical place where nature, myth, and art converge. Through inspiring and embodied encounters, we will learn the life-changing arts of Dream Incubation and Lucid Dreaming through experimentation, play, and sleep!\n\n**What to expect:**\n\nMossy Crow is all about creation, imagination, and play, inviting people back into the freedom of a child exploring nature. We offer a supportive and inspiring space for you to experiment and fully express yourself. We will guide you through the foundations of lucid dreaming and dream incubation with day and night time practices, cultivating a nourishing relationship with your inner world. We will also work with nature connection, visual arts, movement, performance, and games in groups, with ample time for solitary reflection and deep rest. The entire experience will unfold within the graceful embrace of granite, water, meadow, and forest.\n\n**Feedback from previous retreat participants:**\n\n“I am left totally inspired and lit up, having spent five days playing with my inner children which has been so deeply nourishing and fun.”\n\n“Dreaming the Dragon Awake was a powerful and beautifully orchestrated event in an other-wordly place that combined outstanding natural beauty and mystery with superb human artistry. From the very beginning, Trix and Miranda made their varied group feel safe, with a mixture of reverent ritual, warmth and deep respect for The Other. The rhythm and pace were very skillfully managed, with heartfelt teaching alternating with creative encouragement and practice (with wondrous materials, especially the dressing up possibilities!) dancing, (very important) feasting and immersion in the natural (and even the supernatural) world. Dreams are such ephemeral, delicate, precious creatures and I am always worried that group experiences can lead to over-eager participation. Both group and leaders managed a wonderful mix of open, deep sharing with really reverential wise respect (and clinical care)so that dreams weren't seized and dismembered but allowed to emerge fully and stretch their wings.” (JD)\n\n“I’m still resonating with the gifts of dreaming. Such an inspirational time. What I am noticing is how much is unfolding as I put what I learned into practice” (AB)\n\n“So important in these times to step out of “time” and into “community” Trix and Miranda you created such a nurturing and safe space that we were all instant family and were able to go so deep. This work feels so important as we create new pathways into the new world we are all co-creating. To let go of the known and to step into the unknown with a safety net is a glorious gift - thank you so much“ (RG)\n\n[Dee Opp's blog post all about our last retreat](https://substack.com/home/post/p-196801450)\n\n**Meet your Facilitators:**\n\n**Trix Robertson, Co-director of Mossy Crow**\n\nTrix is a multi-media artist, storyteller, performer and conservationist with a passion for connecting people with nature through creative play. She draws inspiration from the Cornish landscape and folklore. At Retallack, her beloved home of 30 years, she has planted thousands of trees and nurtured the local flora and fauna creating a beautiful land of healing and magic. With Nature as their guide, Trix and her family have acted as custodians who nurture the landscape to allow its innate beauty to unfurl. Through art, theatre and ritual, Trix enjoys finding ways to connect with the spirit of the land through a myriad of art forms.\n\n**Miranda Jones, Co-director of Mossy Crow**\n\nMiranda is an artist and integrative arts psychotherapist. She is Trix’s partner in crime on all things Mossy. As well as her therapy practice, she specialises in arts for wellbeing and mental health, teaching and facilitating with diverse groups, sometimes using the outcomes to inform large scale interactive installations and public art commissions, with partners such as National Trust, the NHS and European and UK festivals. She has trained as a Lucid Dreaming Facillator with Charlie Morley. Dreams are an important part of her own practice, as well as her work with others. She teaches drawing as a meditation and the use of the Arts for Integrating non-ordinary experiences. She runs an psychedelic arts and integration group in partnership with the Psychedelic Society. Her own art centres around finding ways to express mystery, less conscious layers of experience, and subtle shifting nature. One of her favourite things is supporting people as they find and run with their creative spark.\n\n**Accommodation and Food**\n\n**Delicious locally sourced food will be provided and we will have a celebratory feast to finish the retreat. **\n\nSince Dreamwork is the focus of our retreat we will be sleeping and dreaming together in ceremonial space in the beautiful oak barn. Comfortable mattresses will be provided - just bring your own sleeping bag/duvet. If you would rather sleep separately you can bring your own camper van or tent and stay in our beautiful and fully equipped camping field. There is also limited house and cabin accommodation available at an extra cost.
