"description": "Heartsongs is a place for you to tend to your heart and your soul through devotional songs, ceremony, meditation, and shared silence.\n\n#### Join us to:\n\n- Lift your spirits by singing devotional songs, chants and mantras.\n- Calm your mind through shared silence and meditation.\n- Receive healing with heart-opening ceremonial cacao.\n- Nourish your soul with mystical wisdom from poetry and sacred texts.\n- Tend your body and nervous system with gentle movement, embodiment practices, and restorative rest.\n\n_ **You don't need to be a confident singer to join us and there is no pressure to perform. It's all about opening our hearts to the simple joy and connection of singing together. ** _\n\nWe contemplate a different theme each session; honouring the innate connection with the divine that exists within each of us, tuning into the voices of the sacred feminine, and connecting with plant allies.\n\n#### Who is it for?\n\nAnyone who would like to connect in a heart-centred spiritual context, to learn devotional songs, to sit in silent meditation and to spend time dropping into communion with the all-that-is. \n\nWe’re offering an inclusive and non-dogmatic invitation for us to find our way, individually and collectively, to reconnect with our spiritual roots in both earth spirituality and in the Christian tradition. And you don't need to follow a Christian or earth-based spiritual path to join us. One Heart, One Love. These sessions are open to people of all faiths and none. \n\nPlease [click here](https://www.norfolkgrief.com/heartsongs#intention) to read more about the intention and the content of these sessions. \n\n#### **The gifting approach - pay what you can**\n\nAll our events are offered on a gift basis, which means there’s no financial barrier to participation. This is a bit different to simply inviting donations, we’re asking you to feel into a contribution that feels right for you. One of the factors we ask you to take into account is how much you might pay elsewhere for something similar - likely between £10 and £35 for this event. \n\nWe have created a sliding scale to help you to decide on your financial gift as well as further guidelines and reflections on the subject of [Living in the Gift](https://www.norfolkgrief.com/about-what-you-pay). Please read this through if you are new to the gifting approach and want to learn more about our ethos. \n\n**Suggested gifts for this event:** £10 Supported; £18 Standard; £25 Abundant; £35 Abundant Plus. \n\nIt's OK if your gift is anywhere along this sliding scale or indeed less or more than we are suggesting - we trust you to make this decision. Your gift will ensure that we can continue offering sessions to everyone who needs them, regardless of their financial circumstances.\n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/08/19/09/14/24/f7123d7b-7d81-424b-9778-9efc7ccec67f/35793d32-7014-4ca1-b0f9-66a95e9adb9a.jpeg)\n\n####",
