The aim of this course is to create a deeper, happier sense of wellbeing, and more time for the things that are important to you. \n \nThere's lots to learn from the latest neuroscience about how to beat the addictive nature of screens, and how to rebuild our attention spans. We will be experimenting with new screen habits, supporting our nervous system regulation, learning successful habit formation, reconnecting to our creativity and making a soul-path enquiry.\n\n**It's increasingly difficult to have a healthy relationship with screens and social media.**\n\nNeuroscientists claim it produces the same neural circuitry as other addictive substances. It's changing the way our brains work, the length of our attention span, and our general productivity and creativity. This isn't your fault, or a personal weakness, it's happening for all of us.\n\n**So how do we negotiate a healthy relationship with our screens? **\n\nBoe Huntress has been running **A Farewell to Screen Addiction** for over five years, and has now written a 6-week handbook, taking you through step by step, in an ‘Artist’s Way' style practical guide. \n\nWe will be focusing on our creativity as an antidote to our screens, so you will be asked to choose a creative project alongside this course, beginning in week 1 and sharing something from it with the group in week 6.\n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2025/04/03/14/57/03/72ed01d3-e60d-49ea-a5e2-7df3fc576835/Screenshot 2025-03-28 at 13.14.15.png)\n\n## What to Expect \n\n We will…\n\n- Assess what our screen use looks like and how it affects us.\n- Have a deeper look at what our screen use may be covering up.\n- Explore what our ideal relationship to screens looks and feels like.\n- Commit to experimenting with new habits.\n- Identify what our life is calling for and how to move towards it.\n\n## **What's Included **\n\n**6 x 90-minute live workshops** exploring screen habits, nervous system regulation, habit formation, creative reconnection, soul-path enquiry, and much more!\n\n**Learning materials** including the handbook, recordings, journal prompts & screen audit\n\n**An optional accountability buddy** and access to community support\n\n**If funds are a barrier to attendance then please get in touch.**\n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2025/04/03/14/57/30/8fe85a2d-c7cf-45bc-9ab0-dd4de9dd1cb8/Meditation.jpeg)\n\n## Schedule\n\nWe will meet every week for six weeks, in person on Mondays at 19.00-20.30 at the Firepit Gallery, in North Greenwich.\n\nDuring the sessions we will be journaling, sharing and supporting each other.\n\n**Dates** :\n\nMon 11th Jan 7pm-8.30pm UK time\n\nMon 18th Jan 7pm-8.30pm UK time\n\nMon 25th Jan 7pm-8.30pm UK time\n\nMon 1st Feb 7pm-8.30pm UK time \n\nMon 8th Feb 7pm-8.30pm UK time\n\nMon 15th Feb 7pm-8.30pm UK time \n \nYour Facilitator \n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2020/11/23/11/06/22/74655555-b48a-4ea0-a1a8-5dfba6d1cb8e/Boe Colours Insta.jpg)\n\nMy name is Boe Huntress, I have been a facilitator of groups for over ten years. I hold spaces to support others and myself to engage healthily with their emotions and with their soul life. I have personally been on a journey with my own screen addictions and feel in a place where I can support others to do the same.\n\n## Previous Feedback \n\n#### **Feedback from previous Screen Addiction Courses with Boe**\n\n“Five stars!”\n\n“100% recommend this course.” \n\n“If you want to become more productive, less stressed and have more fulfilling relationships, then try this course.” \n\n“It's great to be in a group taking screen addiction seriously, feeling supported, and exploring it without shame.”\n\n“This course helps people understand a problem that is only getting bigger.” \n\n“Really enjoyed your facilitation, the group was very well held, and good tone struck. Excellent balance of pragmatic and profound.”\n\n“Brilliant faciliator, genuinely useful info, great group.”\n\n#### \n\n#### **Feedback from previous events with Boe**\n\n\"Boe is a one in a million facilitator\" \n\n\"Being in this group has been a powerful, transformative experience. I’ve always felt in safe hands, in complete trust and able to grow each time.\" \n\n\"I feel blessed beyond words to have found this group. It can be SO hard to find the space to explore and meet one's spiritual needs in modern every day life, and what has been grown here is exceptional and unique. I have deep gratitude to Boe for providing this much needed and very rare space.” \n\n\"To say that this group has been a life-changing experience would actually be an understatement. It has given me the most incredible support network, lifeline in hard times, and a sacred connection to others.\"\n\n\"This circle has single-handedly saved me from depression, by giving me life long tools. It has deeply empowered me, meaning I can overcome insecurity and fear in order to help others and make a positive impact on this planet. I have come from being lost, insecure and afraid, to feeling open to the world and excited by its possibilities.\" \n\n\"It's hard to pry apart all of the incredibly positive ways this experience has affected my life. It's given me tools, and I feel firmly on a journey inwards which is broadening and opening up my outward perspectives. I think this has been the best thing I've ever done.\"\n\n“Attending Boe's group has enabled me to find my spiritual core. It has changed my relationship with myself and with the world, and enabled me to live from a more authentic and loving place.\"", "endsAt": "2027-02-15T20:30:00Z", "locations": [ { "$type": "community.lexicon.location.geo", "latitude": "51.5020329", "longitude": "0.007262900000000001", "name": "Firepit Art Gallery and Studios CIC, Cutter Lane, London, UK" } ], "mode": "community.lexicon.calendar.event#inperson", "name": "A Farewell to Screen Addictions - A Six Week Course", "startsAt": "2027-01-11T19:00:00Z", "status": "community.lexicon.calendar.event#scheduled", "uris": [ { "$type": "community.lexicon.calendar.event#uri", "name": "A Farewell to Screen Addictions - A Six Week Course", "uri": "https://dandelion.events/e/r3bw8" } ] }
