"description": "Kokong is an immersive and participant-driven performing arts experience that examines the physical and emotional landscape of trust.\n\nImagine a rope.\n\nYour rope.\n\nHow does it feel around your wrists?\n\nCan you feel your pulse under the tension of the rope?\n\nImagine the rope in knots around your body.\n\nTo evolve, you must first stop moving.\n\nKokong is an immersive and participant-driven performing arts experience that examines the physical and emotional landscape of trust.\n\nThrough close proximity you will be part of an experience that weaves together body and technology, participant and performer, flesh and emotion. As bodily data alters the aesthetics of each show, Kokong embodies the intimate process of internal change through external bonds.\n\nBy making the mechanics of connection visible and sensorial, Kokong asks you to explore vulnerability, communication and boundaries through rope art, movement and music.\n\nWithin this shared narrative you are both sculptor and material, both artist and audience.\n\nCredits\n\nConcept and production: Receptor\nArtistic leaders Receptor: Amanda Monceau, Ilkka Häikiö & Tikken Tage\nChoreography: Rumiko Otsuka\nMusic: Gigi Sanadiradze\nLight and video design: Ilkka Häikiö\nSculptures: Amanda Monceau\nInteractive design: Guy Bartell\nCostume design: Khira Fromark\nText: Tikken Tage\nThanks to: Pablo Aida, Ziggy Willpower, Nasrine Olson, Raymond Holt, David Cuartielles, Peter Sunde Kolmisoppi, Henrik Gandsjö, Lisa Mårtensson, Oliver Lindman, Daniel Jeremiah Persson, Mayte Vaos, Åsa Pålsson, Christoffer Berg, Swedish School of Textiles, Inter Arts Center, Malmö university, Bachmans Skeppshandel, Electrokit\nWith support from Kulturbryggan, The Swedish Arts Grants Committee",
