"description": "Have you ever dreamed of disappearing into a completely different world for a couple of hours? Here is your chance. A Little Bit of Everything is an evening during Malmö Dance Week with dance performances, work in progress showings, concerts and live art. Three hours of dance, music, art and love in every corner of Inkonst.\n\nLast time we did it was 2024. That time we painted a Canva to our minister of Culture (that hate culture), we danced linedance, camped, entered the Micro universe by Linda Hayford, experienced Afro futuristic queer Krump solo and partying with the performance FESTEN. It's already clear that we'll show the performance SHOUT, stay tuned for what's more to come this year!\n\nSCHEDULE\n\n18:00 Performance, music and art in every corner of Inkonst\n\n20:00 Shout - Jens Jeffery Trinidad (Blackbox)\n\n21:00 Let's Groove - Funk Experience (The bar)\n\n23:00 The End\n\nSHOUT – Jens Jeffry Trinidad & Marcus Amadeus\n\nSHOUT is a collaboration between dancer Jens Jeffry Trinidad and musician Marcus Amadeus that explores how music, sound, and vibration inhabit and move the body, drawing on influences from club culture, dance-offs, lamentation, and praise breaks.\n\nSHOUT is a collaboration between dancer Jens Jeffry Trinidad (NO) and musician Marcus Amadeus (PT).\n\nThe performance is rooted in a shared interest in how music, sound, and vibrations inhabit the body, influencing, shaping, and moving it. Drawing inspiration from club music, dance-offs, lamentation, and \"praise breaks,\" with Missy Elliot as the project's \"holy spirit,\" SHOUT creates an unfiltered, soulful expression with rhythmic drive and transcendent flow.\n\nThe performance bears a clear imprint of the artists' collective background in street dance, hip-hop, and club culture, yet it simultaneously resists genre-based and gendered conventions. Trinidad and Amadeus work with repetitions, shifts, and transformations through movement and music, conjuring a power that challenges categorization as club culture or contemporary dance, masculine or feminine. The visual expression of the performance reinforces the desire for transgression by cworking both with and against Expectations.\n\nBIO\n\nJens Jeffry Trinidad is a Filipino-Norwegian performing dance artist who began his journey in hip-hop in the late 90s at X-Ray Youth Culture House in Oslo, and has been working as a dancer for almost 20 years. Marcus Amadeus is a self-taught musician and composer born in the city of Porto, as well as a producer and sound designer with two album releases.\n\nTogether, they approach this piece, choreography and soundscape through vibration, frequency, and a porous physicality rooted in sensuality.\n\nConcept, choreography and performer: Jens Jeffry Trinidad\nMusician, composer and performer: Marcus Amadeus\nDramaturgy/outside eye: Melanie Fieldseth\nScenographer: Kjersti Alm Eriksen\nLightdesign: Elisabeth Kjeldahl Nilsson\nOutside and inside eye: Magnus Myhr\nTour tech: Olav Nordhagen\nFilm & foto: Sindre Eriksson Vik\nFunded by: Norwegian Arts Council, The Fund for Performing Artists, Municipality of Oslo.\n\n\\\n\nABOUT LET'S GROOVE\n\n‍“Let’s Groove [& Move]\" is a series of events dedicated to creating space for dance, interaction and a deeper appreciation of the music and its history.\n\nWe continue to explore the sounds that have defined Let’s Groove events over the years as we embrace the diverse world of street dance that is inseparable from nightclub culture, community, and self-expression. Expect to experience different perspectives on the diverse styles, movements, rhythms, and histories that continue to evolve within street dance.\n\nEach event will focus on a specific music genre, its foundations and street dance styles that are commonly associated with it.”",
