"description": "This clinic will cover the basic techniques for improving your efficiency ascending and descending on trails and peak climbs using a Single Tall Pole (STP). The STP enables you to reduce impact on joints, reduce excess muscle strain and eliminate the damaging plunge step. You will feel the enhanced stability and balance as the STP enables you to concentrate on effective solid foot placements (i.e., better traction), which makes your backcountry travel easier, safer, and more enjoyable.",
