"description": "**Formula presents** \n**Dance For Life**\n\nA sober, daytime dance music experience promoting positive mental health, community and connection.\n\n**Saturday 7th November, 2-6pm** \n**Moor Imagination Centre, Buckfastleigh**\n\n~ All profits from this event will go to the Red Cross Disaster Fund to help support people in Nepal and around the world ~\n\nThink daytime clubbing with a holistic flavour soundtracked by underground house music from across the last four decades. Expect a proper sound system, live groove-led DJ sets and a space that is open to everyone, to meet yourself as you are, and as you need to be - in stillness, moving or dancing, all states and shapes are welcome.\n\nThis event will take place at the celebrated MIC in the heart of Buckfastleigh, where we’ll be taking over their downstairs space; teaming up with Totnes-based plant shop Dutch Quality Flowers to fill it with greenery, creating a nourishing setting for a daytime gathering.\n\nSo we invite you to join us for a coming together on the dancefloor to give appreciation to life and the conditions that support it, and consider the lives of others facing adversity. \n\n**Timings:** \nArrive any time; there is no set schedule, other than our resident DJ set times which will be visible on the day, so you are welcome to come and go as you please. \n\n**Age: ** \n16+ (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult). \nChildren under 5 are also welcome, under close supervision of a parent or carer. \n \n**Accessibility:** \nThis event is suitable for wheelchair users or those with certain mobility needs, who can access the event space via an alternative flat entrance at the rear of the building. Please notify the venue in advance to arrange assistance.\n\n**Refreshments:**
\nThe venue will be running a bar, serving soft drinks and non-alcoholic refreshments. Attendees are also welcome to bring their own bottled water. \n \n**Ticket information:**
\nAdvance ticket purchase is recommended due to the limited capacity of the space. There may also be some tickets available at the door but we can't guarantee it. Children under 5 don’t need a ticket.\n\nWe offer a concession ticket for those on low income. If cost still remains a barrier, please email [info@the-formula.club](mailto:info@the-formula.club) and we’ll find a way to welcome you. \n\n**Discover more about Formula ** [**here**](https://the-formula.club) ** **\n\n**Learn more about Moor Imagination Centre** [**here**](https://www.moorimagination.org/)\n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/09/29/18/52/56/c76cb29f-b844-4fb9-a71b-f3f54159e412/LowerGroundFloor.jpg)\n_Downstairs event space_\n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/09/29/18/53/05/d056ef5d-eaad-4c0a-ab64-7fdd2094ba3f/Cafe.jpg)\n_Cafe | Seating area_\n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/09/29/18/53/06/0c7585d7-2442-43a5-bc91-9a5551909676/Foyer3.jpg)\n_Foyer | Bar area_",
