No choreography. No right or wrong way to move.**\n\n**You don’t need to know how to dance.**\n\nJust bring your body, your curiosity, and a willingness to explore what happens when we let go of expectations and allow the music to move us.\n\n🌀\n\n* * *\n\n \n\n# WHAT TO EXPECT\n\n🌀\n\nThe evening unfolds as a carefully curated musical journey. We begin gently, with space to land, settle into our bodies, and leave behind the momentum of the day.\n\nFrom there, the music gradually builds through rhythm, energy, emotion, and intensity, carrying us into a shared wave of movement, release, connection, and expression.\n\nExpect different musical landscapes: deep and hypnotic rhythms, organic and electronic sounds, tribal energy, playfulness, wildness, euphoria, and release.\n\nThere will be a couple of waves of intensity before eventually reaching calmer rhythms to slow down, integrate the experience, and return.\n\nYou are invited to follow your own flow. Dance fast or slow. Journey alone or connect with others. Rest when you need to, and move when you feel called.\n\nThere is nothing to achieve and nothing to perform. Simply an opportunity to be present with yourself, the music, and the people around you, in whatever way feels right for you.\n\n🌀\n\n* * *\n\n \n\n# IN A NUTSHELL\n\n🌀\n\n### THE JOURNEY\n\n🌀\n\n### **7:00 pm - Doors Open**\n\nPlease **arrive by 7:00 pm** so you have time to land and settle into the space before the guided meditation begins.\n\n_(There will be a gentle soundtrack playing in the background during the meditation before the actual DJ set starts.)_\n\n🌀\n\n### **7:05 pm - Guided Meditation Begins**\n\nWe begin with an open invitation to come together for synchronised breathing and guided visualisation.\n\nAfterwards, the dance floor becomes a space beyond words, with no more guidance until the sharing and closing circle.\n\nAs always, any sounds and expressions are welcome as you dance.\n\n🌀\n\n### **7:15 pm - Music Set Starts**\n\nThe 2-hour live DJ sound journey begins.\n\nAn immersive experience moving through various sounds - a journey of rhythm, energy and emotion, with dancers joining the experience on the dance floor throughout the evening.\n\n🌀\n\n### **9:30 pm - Music Ends**\n\nThe music gradually comes to an end, creating space to slow down, breathe, and return before we gather as a group.\n\n🌀\n\n### **9:30 pm - Sharing Circle**\n\nAn invitation to land together and complete the journey. A space to share, reflect, or simply listen. \n\nThoughts and feedback are always welcome.\n\n🌀\n\n* * *\n\n \n\n# THE VENUE\n\n🌀\n\nThe event takes place at Bere Ferrers Village Hall. \n\nAs the venue is a smaller space, the number of participants is limited to **30 dancers** to ensure everyone has enough room to move freely.\n\n🌀\n\n### **⚠️ IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Advance online booking is essential. ⚠️ **\n\n### If you haven’t bought your ticket online, and spaces are still available, last-minute tickets may be purchased **at the door with cash.**\n\n**🌀**\n\n_(Tip: If navigating via Google Maps, search for \" **Bere Ferrers Post Office**\" to find the exact spot)_\n\n**Venue address:** \nBere Ferrers Post Office \nSt Andrews Church Hall \nStation Road \nBere Ferrers \nPL20 7JS\n\n**Google Maps pin:** \n[https://maps.app.goo.gl/Wf9oXap8erA29EF57](https://maps.app.goo.gl/Wf9oXap8erA29EF57)\n\nOn-street parking is available along Station Road and Fore Street. Please park with care, without obstructing traffic or blocking any driveways.\n\nToilets are available at the venue.\n\n🌀\n\n* * *\n\n \n\n# HOW TO PREPARE\n\n🌀\n\n### WHAT TO WEAR\n\nDress to express, or simply wear whatever feels good and is comfortable for you.\n\nClothing that doesn’t restrict your movement is best.\n\nWe welcome ourselves - and each other - exactly as we are.\n\n🌀\n\n### **WHAT TO BRING**\n\n• Layers of clothing to easily adapt as your body warms up and cools down.\n\n• Ideally, two bare feet. Clean indoor shoes or non-slip dance socks are also welcome.\n\n• Something comfortable to sit on during the sharing circle, for example: a cushion, blanket, sheepskin, or anything else that helps you feel comfortable.\n\n• A water bottle. Dancing is thirsty work.\n\n🌀\n\n### **WHAT TO REMEMBER**\n\nPlease familiarise yourself with the [**Dancefloor Agreements & Community Care**](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xV7J5t87suQd7C3VyoT6AbkHY8jjPqWE/view?usp=sharing) before buying your ticket, to ensure that you are happy to follow these guidelines.\n\nPlease note that this is an **alcohol- and substance-free space**.\n\nWe also kindly ask you to keep your phone away (ideally on **silent mode** ) and refrain from taking any photos or video recordings.\n\nThere may be a designated person taking some promotional footage during the event. This will be announced at the start of the event. If you do not wish to appear in the footage, please speak to them before or after the event. You can also send us an email at any time if you change your mind at a later date.\n\nIf you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at: \n\necstaticvortex@gmail.com\n\n🌀\n\n* * *\n\n \n\n## REFUND POLICY \n\n🌀\n\nWe understand that plans can sometimes change.\n\nTickets are non-refundable, except if the event is **cancelled or postponed** , in which case, you can choose to receive a refund, keep your ticket for the rescheduled date, or use it towards any future Enter The VorteX event.\n\nIf you’re unable to attend, you’re also welcome to transfer, sell, or pass your ticket on to someone else.\n\n🌀\n\n* * *\n\n \n\n# EVERY BODY IS WELCOME\n\n🌀\n\nWe believe that **every body can dance.**\n\nYou are welcome regardless of **age\\*** , shape, size, background, identity, experience, or ability.\n\nYou don’t need to look a certain way. You don’t need to move a certain way.\n\nYou don’t need to be an experienced dancer.\n\nCome exactly as you are.\n\n🌀\n\n### _ **\\*** AGE POLICY_\n\n**Enter the VorteX is open to participants aged 14 and over.**\n\n**Anyone aged 14–17 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult for the duration of the event.**\n\n**🌀**\n\n* * *\n\n \n\n# A SPACE FOR CONNECTION\n\n🌀\n\nWithout conversation on the dance floor, we enter a different kind of communication.\n\nA glance. A gesture. A shared rhythm.\n\nA moment of moving together or dancing to your inner world.\n\n**Connection is always an invitation - never an obligation.**\n\nYou are free to enter or leave interactions at any time.\n\n**An invitation to dance is not automatically an invitation to touch.**\n\nEvery person has the right to their own boundaries.\n\nWe create the space together through awareness, consent, and respect.\n\n🌀\n\n**Leave the outside world behind.**\n\n**Enjoy the music. **\n\n**Follow the movement.**\n\n**Enter the Vortex.**\n\n**🌀**\n\n* * *\n\n \n\n* * *\n\n_Socials_:\n\nhttps://www.mixcloud.com/ecstatic-vortex/\n\nhttps://soundcloud.com/ecstatic-vortex\n\nhttps://www.instagram.com/ecstatic.vortex",
