"description": "Dear Gentle Soul, \n\nThis is an invitation to slow down, connect with nature, just be within the wisdom of the woods and immerse yourself in healing sounds and the forests’ frequency. Together, Luke from FlowState, and I have created a retreat day that blends healing sounds with guided Forest Therapy in the heart of nature. Encouraging you to listen inward and let nature hold the process. A nourishing day for your mind, body and soul. A space for all to try something different, surrounded by nature and community.\n\n**A bit about us: **\n\n_I'm Lily, founder of Moss & Mind, a nature connection practice based in the Cotswolds. I guide people back into meaningful relationships with the natural world through Forest Therapy, watercolour, seasonal workshops and restorative retreats. I believe there are many pathways into nature connection. Some people arrive through creativity, others through stillness, community or time beneath the trees…but each path leads to the same place. A deeper relationship with the natural world, ourselves and one another._\n\n_Luke is the practitioner behind FlowState, creating a sonic space for you to regulate, unwind and find grounding. An aural accompaniment to hold you in a moment of reflection of the experiences in the forest. Findingbreath for the winter ahead, gentle seated movement to find your ground and connection to the body that will carry you forward.Melody inspired by the birds in the trees, resonance from Tibetan bowls harnessing the undulating force of the wind and harp like arpeggios for you to find an inner flow._\n\nConnecting you to your roots and embracing the power of who you are.\n\nForest therapy is an invitation to slow down and return to the natural rhythm of the woodland. Through gentle sensory experiences, mindful wandering and moments of stillness, we open ourselves to the sights, sounds, scents and energy of the land around us. It is a space to quieten the mind, soften the body and reconnect with something deeper within ourselves, with the land and with the living world that holds us. Combine that with a Sound Journey which is an invitation to let go, soften and be carried by sound. Through a tapestry of resonant tones, vibrations and gentle frequencies, the sounds create a space for deep rest, reflection and inner stillness. With no need to do or achieve anything, you can simply breathe and allow the sound to move through you. This combination is a way for us to create space to settle the mind, release tension and reconnect with yourself.\n\n \n\nLuke and I's paths began to cross through a shared love of the natural world and a desire to help people reconnect with the land around them, with themselves and with one another.\n\nLuke from **FlowState** and Lily from **Moss & Mind** have been brought together by a belief that nature and sound have a powerful way of creating space for connection, reflection and restoration. Through our different practices, we’ve found a shared passion for building community and creating experiences that invite people to slow down, listen deeply and feel more rooted in themselves and the world around them.\n\nNow, we’re bringing our practices together to create beautiful retreats, weaving together creativity, forest therapy and deeply immersive sound journey's into gatherings of slowing down, reconnecting and simply being.\n\nA space to step away from the noise, breathe a little deeper and reconnect with yourself, nature and the people around you.\n\n**Plan of the day: **\n\nYou will walk gently through a beautiful Beech woodland to meet us at the wooden Roundhouse. There will be tea and a warm fire to welcome you to this space. Once settled we will guide your through the plan of the day and from there, the rest of the day will unfold gently and intuitively - a true “Day for You”. You'll be led through soothing meditations and sound journey's using a variety of instruments, helping you to soften, settle and reconnect with yourself and nature. Between sound, we'll take short woodland walks to breathe in the forest air, allow the invitations to deepen our connection to nature, gather inspiration and allow the land to lead. \n\nThe day is designed to be deeply nourishing - a blend of calm and connection. Leaving you feeling grounded, open and restored. Part of our intention and invitation for this day is to offer you a space where rest and slowness feels possible and welcomed. \n\n**Important details:**\n\n- No experience needed with sound journeys or forest therapy, just bring your open heart, curiosity and your love for nature! This is suitable for all! Mixed gender event.\n- Please feel free to bring some lunch and snacks with you to keep you going, there will be tea making facilities.\n- There are toilet facilities available.\n- The walk from the car to the Roundhouse is about 5 minutes through the woodland.\n- Please dress for the weather, it likes to keep us guessing and we will be outside or undercover in the roundhouse for the entire day and may get a little cold when we are still. Sensible shoes and layers please! The terrain can be uneven underfoot and at times a little muddy so decent footwear is a good idea.\n\n \n\nConnecting with the forest frequencies as nature slowly awakens.\n\n \n\nAny questions or further information needed, access requirements, additional needs or if you get lost on the day, please let me know, but be aware that signal may be a challenge on the day of the event! We are aware that this particular day may be challenging for some, please be assured that this is a day for you all to slow down, rest and nourish yourself in nature - we are here to hold this space for you. Please drop me an email on [mossandmindconnect@gmail.com](mailto:tawny.studios@outlook.com) or send me a message on 07399340886.\n\n \n\nWe can't wait to see you there!\n\nWith love and creativity, \n\nLily & Luke x\n\n \n\n \n\nFinancially, we have tried to keep this retreat as accessible as possible while still creating a truly nourishing experience.
