World\n\n### **A Dead Good Festival Event**\n\n**Friday 30th October** \n**1:30pm – 3:00pm** \n**Bar Nothing, 17 Cliff Terrace, Cliftonville, Margate CT9 1RU**\n\n** £22**\n\n### _Calling all witches of conscience._\n\nAs the Witches’ New Year approaches, what would it mean to turn your magick towards justice?\n\nJoin award-winning witchcraft author and mentor **Kelly-Ann Maddox** and grassroots activist, educator and **Activist Witch Alisha Ahmed (Ysha)** for an energising afternoon exploring the intersection of **witchcraft, activism, community and collective liberation**.\n\nThis is a practical and inspiring exploration of how your deepest ethics can find a place within your sacred practice — from protecting marginalised communities and fundraising, to energy cleansing, community-building, blessing, shielding and spellwork for change.\n\nKelly-Ann and Ysha will explore how witches can bring their spiritual practices into the wider world, while building the confidence, boundaries, resilience and community needed to make meaningful change.\n\n### WE’LL EXPLORE\n\n- Choosing and committing to the causes that matter to you\n- Finding your sacred role and discovering how witchcraft can serve it\n- Building confidence, boundaries and community\n- Developing your own **justice magick philosophy**\n- Using blessing, hexing, cord-cutting, shielding, shadow work, astral building and road-opening in activist practice\n- Bringing consistency, vision and wellness to community work\n- Finding your people, claiming your power and making things happen together\n- Staying inspired and strengthened by witchcraft in the work towards collective liberation\n\nThe session will include a **Q&A** , along with a **worksheet** to help you process and develop your own ideas afterwards.\n\n### WITCHES’ NEW YEAR\n\nSamhain marks a threshold — a time of endings, beginnings, reflection and renewal.\n\nAs we enter the spiritual year ahead, this gathering asks us to consider not only what we want to transform within ourselves, but **what kind of world we want to help create**.\n\nBring your convictions. \nBring your questions. \nBring your magick.\n\nAnd point it towards justice.\n\nYou can read [our ticket terms and conditions](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ZSdrUX0V00eRRVd_brA3aKdIZYJ0307f5qk2icIuSdE/edit?tab=t.0) here. Maddox\n\n**Kelly-Ann Maddox** is an award-winning Tarot reader, bestselling witchcraft author and qualified Spiritual Counsellor with over a decade of experience working with clients and groups.\n\nHer work centres on **sovereign spirituality, self-love and shadow work** , helping witches and mystics locate their inner power and develop free-wheeling magickal practices that work for them.\n\nKelly-Ann has fundraised for organisations including **Black Trans Alliance, War Child, Medical Aid for Palestinians and Cwtches to Gaza** , and is a member of **Witches for Palestine**.\n\nHer work consistently explores the relationship between witchcraft and activism, placing worldly concerns and collective responsibility at the heart of spiritual practice.\n\n[kelly-annmaddox.com](https://www.kelly-annmaddox.com/?utm_source=chatgpt.com) \n[@kellyann\\_maddox on
