"description": "Move your Body, Free your Mind\n\nThis 1.5 hour class is for you if you want to: \n\n- Connect with your Self and with your Body;\n- Find joyful freedom in movement;\n- Experience an energising yet gentle workout\n- Be more present\n\nWhether you are new or already familiar with the Nia Technique, you will be warmly welcomed at this class! Includes:\n\n- A full Nia class experience (all abilities welcome)\n- A meditation practice\n- Short teachings when appropriate on the Nia technique, the mind-body connection and mindfulness \n- An opportunity to connect with yourself and with others\n\nNia somatic movement classes bring a powerful combination of mindfulness, dance and martial arts, to exceptional music. The classes aim to connect you with your body, with presence, and with the joy of movement. Nia is a holistic practice which can be transformational for body, mind, emotions, and spirit. \n\nA core principle of Nia is that the movement is adaptable to your body and level of intensity you desire - learning to tune in to your body's way.
