"description": "\\*Please read details\\* This is not a free event - Full fee £288 & For _BeWell_ members £255\n\nBooking is essential through Anahata. Your place is not guaranteed via booking on Dandelion, please secure your space here: https://anahatahealth.co.uk/events/reiki-level-1-workshop/\n\n \n\n## Shoden – Awakening Your Intuitive Gifts\n\n**Sunday 18th October: 10.30am to 5.30pm** \n**Sunday 15th November: 10.30am to 5.30pm**\n\nThis one-day training gives you everything you need to awaken your healing gifts and begin your Reiki practice with confidence. You will learn how to channel universal life force energy through your attuned hands, read and work with your own energy field and psychic senses, and offer Reiki healing to yourself and loved ones. With an ancient lineage behind you and your intuitive gifts activated, you leave this day knowing exactly who you are as a healer.\n\n### Who is this for?\n\nEmpaths, old souls, and highly sensitive people who have always felt energy but never had a framework for it. Those who have been circling Reiki for months or years, knowing it’s meant for them. Anyone wanting to develop their psychic senses alongside a healing practice, as a foundation, not an add-on. Therapists, coaches, and wellness practitioners ready to add energy healing to their toolkit. No prior experience necessary, just an open heart and a willingness to receive.\n\n### What’s included?\n\nFoundation (pre-course online theory module): what Reiki is and how it works, the three levels of the Usui Method, your permanent Reiki Level 1 attunement, the 21-day purification period, the Gokai (Five Reiki Principles), the history of Usui Reiki and your lineage, Gassho meditation and Reiji-Ho technique, the chakras and the eight main clair senses\n\nHealing practice (on the day): the 18-position full-body hand sequence, the 13-position self-treatment sequence, Byosen sensing, consent and working principles, aura cleansing and grounding, hands-on practice giving and receiving Reiki, and aftercare guidance.\n\nIntuitive gifts (woven throughout): Reiki as a doorway to psychic awakening, the 8 Clairs mapped to Reiki and soul purpose, chakras and soul purpose, Ikigai mapped to the practitioner’s path, and reflection/journal prompts.\n\n**Lifetime support:**\n\n- a full branded 40+ page student manual, \na Reiki Level 1 certificate of completion, \na 21-day post-attunement support guide, \n20% off a future 1:1 session with Cindy, \nand lifetime access to The Digital Intuitive Kit: an exclusive 6-module self-study psychic development programme (meditation, grounding, opening your psychic self, meeting your Spirit Guide, sensing subtle energy).\n\n### What makes this course different from other Reiki 1 courses?\n\nMost Reiki courses teach hand positions. This one teaches you to think like a healer. Psychic development is taught from day one, the 8 Clairs as foundational tools, not advanced extras. Cindy is a 20th-generation shamanic lineage holder, so this is a living transmission, not a weekend certification. The group is capped at a maximum of 10 students, a sacred container, not a production line. The course is fully accredited (Member of the Complementary Medical Association, internationally recognised certificate), and your learning doesn’t stop on the day, the online theory course remains accessible for life.\n\n## About Cindy\n\nCindy Théodore is a Reiki Master Teacher, Trance Medium, and 20th-generation shamanic lineage holder, trained at the Arthur Findlay College and the College of Psychic Studies. She is the founder of Reiki The People and has over 10 years of experience teaching empaths, old souls, and highly sensitive people to trust the gifts they’ve always carried.\n\nCindy offers Psychic Mediumship & Spirit Guidance and Trance Healing at Anahata",
