To smile when we meant no. To say yes and feel our stomach drop. To stay quiet rather than risk someone else's disappointment.\n\nThis course is about coming home from that. It's about carving out the space in the world that your soul needs to flower.\n\n**Boundaries As Medicine** is a 4-week container for learning somatically in your body how to know what's true for you moment to moment, how to stand in it without apology, and how to practise it in the mess and speed of real life. No more guessing. No more people-pleasing. No more crossing your own line because you're afraid of someone else's pain, even when it's someone you love.\n\nThis puts the power back where it belongs - in you. You don't need everyone else to have done a workshop for your boundaries to hold. You just need to feel them, and know in your bones how important it is to stand up for them.\n\n<oembed url=\"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RygS9vZRBxE&list=PL5xZhEyooCkSlyhzpOTU__9NYspczbrpk\"></oembed>\n\n### \n\n## The Journey:\n\n**Step 1 — Knowing your own boundaries**\n\nBefore you can hold a boundary, you have to be able to feel it. We slow everything down so you can start noticing, in real time, what's a yes, what's a no, and what's a \"not sure yet.\" You'll learn to check in with your four centres: mind, heart, belly, and sex - and build real reference points for what authentic and inauthentic yeses and nos actually feel like in the body.\n\n**Step 2 — Standing up for them**\n\nKnowing isn't enough if you can't speak it. This is where we work with the discomfort of disappointing someone, the fear underneath people-pleasing, and what it actually takes to say a clean “no” and hold it, even when someone else's reaction gets loud, sad, or manipulative. We'll look at how to spot bullying, seduction, and guilt-tripping for what they are, and how to meet rejection - giving and receiving it - with compassion instead of collapse.\n\n**Step 3 — Practice**\n\nThe impact of this course being over 4 weeks is that you can take these tools into your actual life - your family, your work, your relationships, your bed - and building the muscle through repetition, homework assignments, and the support of a group who's in it with you.\n\n* * *\n\n## Guest Facilitator - Emily Martin\n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/08/28/09/04/45/ca9055fd-89b6-4ff4-ba27-014a096cee91/Emily (1).jpg)\n\nEmily will be joining us in week two to bring her expertise on Betty Martin's Wheel of Consent.\n\nMore information coming soon.\n\n* * *\n\n## What We'll Explore\n\n- Getting in touch with your body, and listening moment to moment to what it's telling you\n- Energetic boundaries: feeling the effect of someone entering your energetic field, long before there's any touch\n- The Wheel of Consent: the real difference between serving and taking, accepting and allowing\n- Getting in touch with your anger, safely and healthily - because this is where solid boundaries actually come from\n- Resisting manipulation: recognising the bully, the seducer, and the guilt-tripper, in others and in yourself\n- Where you struggle to notice your own edges, and where you struggle to hold them once you do\n\n_Boundaries aren't about keeping others out - they are the living membrane of the truth of who you are._\n\n* * *\n\n## The Container\n\n- **4 sessions, 4 consecutive Wednesdays** , 7–10pm\n- **14th, 21st, 28th October & 4th November**\n- **Totnes Natural Health Centre**\n- A guest facilitator trained in **Betty Martin's Wheel of Consent** joins us for one session\n- Homework between sessions to bring the practice into daily life\n- A **private online group** to share your experience and support each other through the month\n\nThis is a small, intimate group by design - expect real practice, not a lecture.\n\n* * *\n\n## This Is For You If...\n\n- You find it hard to say no, or to know what you even want\n- You override your own needs to keep the peace\n- You want stronger, clearer boundaries for intimacy, sacred sexuality, or Temple spaces\n- You're tired of consent culture that puts all the weight on _asking and checking_, and want to feel your own power instead\n- You're ready to meet your anger, your fear, and your yes in your body\n\n* * *\n\n_The space you create by saying \"no\" is where your soul expands into its fullest expression._\n\nLet's move beyond performative consent and into embodied power. **Learn the tools to feel, speak, and honour your truth.**", "endsAt": "2026-11-04T19:00:00Z", "locations": [ { "$type": "community.lexicon.location.geo", "latitude": "50.430215", "longitude": "-3.682493", "name": "Totnes Natural Health Centre, The Plains, Totnes, UK" } ], "mode": "community.lexicon.calendar.event#inperson", "name": "Boundaries As Medicine - 4 Week Deep Dive Course", "startsAt": "2026-10-14T18:00:00Z", "status": "community.lexicon.calendar.event#scheduled", "uris": [ { "$type": "community.lexicon.calendar.event#uri", "name": "Boundaries As Medicine - 4 Week Deep Dive Course", "uri": "https://dandelion.events/e/p0afj" }, { "$type": "community.lexicon.calendar.event#uri", "name": "Facebook event", "uri": "https://www.facebook.com/events/1709253613514096" } ] }
