"description": "[**Sex Club**](http://www.sexclubme.com) **was developed in London 8 years ago to provide a space to process and explore the changing nature of our sexuality in a therapeutic way, and take an active role in its continued evolution.** It's a clothes-on space where we inquire into our sexuality via spoken inquiries and embodied explorations all influenced and informed by modern psychology, psychotherapy, somatic experience and conscious sexuality practises. \n\n**Sex Club was founded in London eight years ago to create a space to process and explore the changing nature of our sexuality in a therapeutic way, and take an active role in its continued evolution.** It is a clothes-on environment where we engage with our sexuality through spoken self inquiry and embodied explorations, all informed by modern psychology, psychotherapy, somatic practices, and conscious sexuality approaches.\n\n_★★★★★ **“** __ **I truly recommend Sex Club. It's a personal development/therapeutic setting, which is very well designed! It's set up that you don't need to push yourself towards something you don’t want to. I very much enjoyed the humbleness of Juliane. Even though I lead sex positive Temple events, I learned and got lots of insights. I got inspired, braver and even more grounded to talk about my wishes and desires. I got to know myself even better which lays a strong foundation for my confidence and self-worth, within a sexual and outside of a sexual context.”** _ _Raminta - Temple Facilitator, Berlin_\n\n**WEEKEND THEMES:** Desires, Boundaries, Fears, Communication, Intimacy, Touch \n**TIMES** : Sat 11h - 17:00h (Berlin, CET) + Sun 10:30h-16:30h, with breaks. \n**PARTICIPANTS:** min. 6 - max. 24 people \n**PRICE:** Low Income: 150€, Standard Income: 210€, Supporter: 270€ \nFurther discounted tickets available on request depending on your circumstances. \n**GENDERED SPACE** : Mixed \n**LANGUAGES:** English, German \n**LEVEL OF NUDITY:** No nudity\n\n_★★★★★ **“It's not what I expected. But what I expected pales in comparison to what it actually was. This weekend was like stepping into another consciousness for a couple of days. A place to leave your social norms at the door and be playful and explore and learn about yourself. And become comfortable connecting with strangers.\"** - David F._\n\n**WHY & WHAT**\n\nDesires and boundaries are not static. They evolve and change. You might want to define, refine and/or review your desires and boundaries around intimacy and sexuality. You might want to inquire into your fears and release patterns that don't serve you anymore. We will hold **a space where you can reclaim, deepen and redefine intimacy and sexuality towards yourself and others, with focus on desires, boundaries, shame, deep listening, communication, power dynamics and touch.**\n\nYou'll be guided to **find your own answers in relation to your sexuality and learn from the collective wisdom of the group**. Inquiries are done in smaller groups with bigger group reflections at the end of each exercise to practise authentic communication, and have a knowledge exchange between as many participants as possible.\n\nSex Club is always evolving and growing, with each group we learn and refine our process. But, some things have held true from our first ever groups - the space we create together is **brave and held, playful and deep, supportive and challenging enough that we stretch and grow without pushing ourselves to go anyway we’re not yet ready to go.** The process is informed by a set of principles that help form the container for each person to go on their individual journey, to explore the parts of themselves that most need exploration and to find areas within themselves to expand into. It’s a beautiful and transformative process that invites you into a greater sense of joy and liberation in your relationships, your relationship to sex and your emotions.\n\nRegardless of your sexual orientation, preferences, gender expression, religious beliefs or disbeliefs, whether you’re single, partnered, monogamous, polyamorous, have a lot of sex or none at all, you’re invited to come as you are, by yourself, with your friend/s, lover/s or partner/s. This is a group journey with like-minded people who share the same curiosity.\n\n_★★★★★ **“Sex Club stirred up things that weren't even in my consciousness and allowed me to release some deep stored emotions. Having the space to explore my own needs and desires, hearing others sharing and seeing things from a male perspective was eye opening, freeing and has given me a lot to work on. The energy created from these courses are special. I experience big shifts from this work and I am incredibly grateful to Jules and Conor for the safe space they hold and for modelling vulnerability and openness. I can't recommend Sex Club enough.”** - Binta Patel - Personal Development Coach_\n\n**ABOUT THE WEEKEND**\n\nEach day follows a similar structure with content building on what came before. The flow of each day is designed to bring us deeper into connection with ourselves and each other.\n\n**DAY 1**\n\n**On Saturday, we arrive together, get to know each other and build trust. You will be encouraged to be explicit in articulating your experience in a low stakes environment whilst at the same time hearing from other people and therefore expanding your vocabulary around desires, fears and boundaries.**\n\n**10.45h** - Arriving into the space \n**11.00h** - We begin with the principles and agreements of how we hold the space together \n**12.00h** - Pods: a smaller group within in the group for you to check in with each morning and inquiries \n**13.30h** - Lunch \n**14:30h** - Spoken and embodied inquiries into the themes of the day \n**16.30h** - Check-out \n**17.00h** - Close \n\n**DAY 2**\n\n**On Sunday, we go deeper together, we practise in a more embodied way, exploring power, becoming comfortable with touch - how to ask for what we want, communicate boundaries, give touch (platonic only), receive and experience pleasure and will flow into an Intimacy Jam together putting together all we practised.**\n\n**10.15h** - Arriving into the space \n**10:30h** - Pods: a smaller group within in the group for you to check in with each morning \n**12h -** Spoken and embodied inquiries into the themes of the day \n**13:00h** - Lunch \n**14:00h** - Spoken and embodied inquiries into the themes of the day \n**16.00h** - Check-out \n**16.30h** - Close \n\nOver the weekend we will create a container together where through shared vulnerability and a commitment to each other we’ll create group trust so it will feel safe to go deeper into our experiences, de-armour insecurities and shame through exposure and **find new confidence and comfort in ourselves as sexual beings**. Whilst we will offer a framework of exercises, this course very much focuses on tapping into the collective knowledge and experience of the group. \n\n_ **★★★★★ “I can't thank you enough for the weekend. It opened my eyes to a lot of what I've been hiding from myself and really shook up the way I connect with other human beings in such a positive way. Each exercise brought me further in touch with myself and closer to understanding my sexuality. Some things were challenging to face but I am incredibly grateful I have been able to drop some of the burdens I've gotten so used to carrying.\"** A., London_\n\n**As with every Sex Club it works on multiple levels. You have the opportunity to:**\n\n- Practise communication about sex in details, in a trusted, non-judgemental and low stakes environment\n- Spend the day with a group of like-minded people enquiring and practising a **series of carefully-designed exercises based around self-inquiry and authentic connection that you can continue to practise at home**.\n- **Inquiry into your sexuality, and through awareness acquire agency to change patterns that don’t serve you anymore**\n- **Hear and learn from other peoples’ experience** and knowledge and expand your vocabulary.\n\n**IS THIS FOR YOU?**\n\n- This course is fully inclusive and valuable to everyone regardless of relationship status or model you’re in, age (18+), ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation and experience, religious beliefs, income and otherwise.\n- Although this workshop is therapeutic, it is not therapy. To this end, I co-founded Sex Club in 2017. \n\nWhen designing and facilitating group processes, I focus on tapping into the existing wisdom and resources of the individual, and the exchange of their process within the group. This creates by nature a connected up-to-date peer-to-peer learning environment \n\nAs a counsellor, I support individuals and couples to resolve inner conflict and strengthen their self-leadership in all areas of life.\n\n[www.julianemueller.co](http://www.julianemueller.co)\n\n_ **★★★★★ \"** __**What a wonderful experience! I am still integrating how much I learned! I felt very safe in the \"brave\" space Jules created. It was a fruitful exploration of the topics. Beautiful exchanges with the group, simple embodiment practices, and empathetic facilitation. Everyone should have the chance to participate in such an event!**__ **\"** - Louise Plessis, Berlin_\n\n_ **★★★★★ \"The space was held beautifully and created an environment where I could share things I'd never spoken about before. They also encouraged us and created a framework for us to feel into how much was right to share at any moment, to stay in the learning zone rather than the panic zone or comfort zone. Lots of depth, and also lightness and joy.\"** - Emilia M., London_\n\n_ ** ★★★★★ \"Loved the weekend. It helped me to get a better perspective on some interesting behaviours and subconscious programs still at play. It was so good that the second day was flexible. When peoples rawness came up from the second day some of the activities changed to accommodate this which was perfect! Can't wait for the next retreat.”** - George G., London_\n\n[FIND ALL REVIEWS HERE](https://www.sexclubme.com/reviews-faq) \n \n**REFUNDS POLICY:** Please note, we only arrange refunds in exceptional circumstances though you may pass your ticket on to a friend or a different event.",
