No previous experience is needed.\n\n### Dates Saturday 10 October 2026- 10:00am–1:00pm Saturday 28 November 2026 - 2.00-5.00pm\n\nThese circles run bi-monthly, with a summer pause.\n\n### Location\n\nStone Rock Lodge, Chepstow\n\n## What are Family / Systemic Constellations?\n\nFamily or Systemic Constellations is an experiential therapeutic approach developed by **Bert Hellinger** , drawing on family therapy, systemic thinking, and group dynamics.\n\nThe work explores how unresolved experiences and patterns within our family systems can continue to influence our relationships, work, health, and sense of belonging, often without our conscious awareness. These influences may show up as repeating dynamics, emotional burdens, or a sense of being stuck.\n\nRather than talking _about_ problems, constellation work allows us to see and feel the wider system we are part of. In a group setting, participants may be invited to act as representatives for people, roles, or elements within a family or life situation. Through this embodied process, hidden dynamics can become visible, allowing new understanding, movement, and relief to emerge.\n\nThis is not roleplay, and no belief or prior knowledge is required.\n\n## How the Circle Works\n\nEach circle includes:\n\n- Arrival, settling, and a short grounding or meditation\n- Simple group exercises to practise representing and attuning to the field\n- **Two constellations**\n- Time for reflection and integration\n- Closing circle\n\nAt each session, **anyone attending is welcome to put their name forward** if they would like to work with a personal or professional issue.\n\nConstellations are **chosen on the day** , guided by what feels most appropriate for the group and the wider field. Not everyone who puts their name forward will necessarily have their own constellation.\n\nAll roles within the process are equally valued.\n\n## Ways to Take Part\n\n**Issue holder** \nYou may bring a theme or situation you would like to explore. Two constellations will take place each morning.\n\n**Representative** \nYou may be invited to stand in for people, roles, or elements within another person’s constellation. Many people find this role deeply insightful, and sometimes more impactful than having their own constellation.\n\n**Witness** \nYou can also attend simply holding presence within the group. Even from this role, people often recognise parallels and gain clarity for their own lives.\n\nYou do not need to bring an issue to attend.\n\n## Why Attend Regularly?\n\nConstellation work often unfolds over time. Attending regularly allows you to:\n\n- deepen your embodied understanding of systemic patterns\n- integrate insights gently between sessions\n- experience different roles within the field\n- build continuity and trust within the group\n\nEach circle responds to who is present and what is alive on the day.\n\n## About Katie\n\nKatie Despres is a Family and Systemic Constellations Facilitator and Senior Yoga Teacher based in Bristol.\n\nShe trained extensively with the Centre for Systemic Constellations, including advanced study in Couples & Intimate Systems. Her background includes psychology, a previous career in executive recruitment, and over a decade of embodied practice through yoga and meditation.\n\nKatie’s approach is grounded, relational, and down-to-earth. She works with people who want depth without dogma, and insight that can be applied in everyday life.\n\nThis Chepstow circle marks a personal return to the Wye Valley, where Katie spent part of her childhood and where her connection to land, family history, and this work was first shaped.\n\n## Staying After the Circle\n\nStone Rock Lodge offers an award-winning pizza restaurant, bar, and wood-fired sauna.\n\nParticipants are warmly invited to stay on after the circle for lunch or sauna time, subject to availability. Details will be shared closer to each date.\n\n## Tickets & Pricing\n\n- **£35 early bird** (limited number for each date)\n- **£45 standard**\n- **£35 concession ( Limited for each date)**\n- **Stone Rock Lodge Member ( contact for discount code)**\n\nThis is a mixed-role constellation circle. Some participants may work with a personal issue, while others take part as representatives or witnesses. All roles are valued and can offer meaningful insight.\n\nIf cost is a barrier, please get in touch.\n\n## Practical Information\n\n- No previous experience needed\n- Wear comfortable clothes you can move in\n- Tea and light refreshments provided\n\nIf you can’t make one of these dates but would like to hear about future Chepstow circles, please contact Katie to be added to the mailing list.", "endsAt": "2026-11-28T17:00:00Z", "locations": [ { "$type": "community.lexicon.location.geo", "latitude": "51.6427701", "longitude": "-2.673085", "name": "Stone Rock Lodge, Upper Church Street, Chepstow, UK" } ], "mode": "community.lexicon.calendar.event#inperson", "name": "Chepstow -Family & Systemic Constellations Circle", "startsAt": "2026-11-28T14:00:00Z", "status": "community.lexicon.calendar.event#scheduled", "uris": [ { "$type": "community.lexicon.calendar.event#uri", "name": "Chepstow -Family & Systemic Constellations Circle", "uri": "https://dandelion.events/e/k7ery" } ] }
