"description": "Some evenings you just need to slow down, breathe out and be around good people. And maybe a few good dogs.\n\nDogs are welcome, but you do NOT need to bring one. Children are welcome too, so it's lovely for families.\n\nYou can come with your dog, with your family, with a friend, or all on your own. Whether or not a dog comes with you, you're just as welcome. Lots of people come for the calm and for the company.\n\nThis unique offering brings together sound healing, meditation, therapeutic frequencies, and the special bond between people and their dogs. Unlike traditional sound healing sessions, which typically take place in carefully controlled, quiet environments, this experience embraces the natural unpredictability of sharing a meditative space with animals. \n\nMuch like meditating in a forest, where birdsong, rustling leaves, and other natural sounds become part of the surroundings, participants are encouraged to deepen their focus despite the gentle distractions of dogs moving around, the sound of their paws, an occasional bark, or playful interactions. \n\nRather than eliminating these distractions, the practice encourages participants to acknowledge them without becoming overwhelmed, cultivating a deeper level of concentration, acceptance, and mindfulness. \n\nWhat makes this experience particularly special is the opportunity to develop that meditative awareness while sharing the space with your own beloved animal, creating a more organic, immersive, and emotionally connected experience than a conventional sound healing session.\n\nYou'll lie back and let the sound wash over you, from gongs, crystal singing bowls, chimes and other soothing instruments. Dogs settle wherever feels right, children can rest or wriggle, and nobody has to stay perfectly still. It's simply time to feel calm, grounded and close to the people you love.\n\nAfterwards you're welcome to stay, say hello and connect. So many people leave feeling lighter, clearer and a little less alone in this big city.\n\nNo experience needed. Just come as you are.\n\nThe evening\n\n7:00pm We meet at Social Yoga Fish Island for a relaxed group walk\n\n7:30pm The sound journey begins\n\n8:30pm Time to socialise and connect\n\n9:00pm We say goodbye\n\nNo dog? You're very welcome to join the walk too, or just settle in and wait for us.\n\nPlease bring\n\nSomething comfy to lie on, like a mat or blanket, and a pillow if you like. If you're bringing a dog, bring anything that helps them feel at home, like their favourite blanket or bed. Yoga mats are available at the studio. \n\nWe'll have calming doggy treats as little gifts for your pup, from My Grub Club (mygrubclub.com)\n\nWe would love to see you there.\n\nAbout your host\n\nYvonne is a trained Gong Practitioner, offering deeply immersive gong baths that invite profound rest, energetic alignment, and inner stillness. Her sessions guide participants back to the body’s natural rhythm through the transformative power of sound.\n\nShe has studied with esteemed teachers, including the Cummings Twins. She hasworked alongside Seth Newman (URUBU Aerial Sound Healing), as well as taken part in overnight gong puja’s with RogerGongs, Joanna GongFree, and Wiola Diamond heart. Yvonne brings a grounded presence, intuitive sensitivity, and a strong healing foundation to every sound journey she holds.\n\nIn addition to her gong work, Yvonne is also a qualified Acupuncturist, trained in both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Five Element Acupuncture. A graduate of the Asante Academy of Chinese Medicine and a registered member of the Acupuncture Society UK, she integrates acupuncture to support a wide range of physical and emotional conditions, including stress, anxiety, sleep issues, hormonal balance, digestive health, and pain management.\n\nWhether through sound or needles, her approach is holistic, nurturing, and deeply attuned to each individual’s unique path toward balance and wellbeing.\n\nWebsite: [https://www.holistiqueuk.com/](https://www.holistiqueuk.com/)\n\nInstagram: [https://www.instagram.com/holistique.uk/](https://www.instagram.com/holistique.uk/)\n\nOur announcements only WhatsApp group: https://chat.whatsapp.com/Hb60XSJiOfW6fOjzLuABsT",
