"description": "**Join us for an immersive evening of rhythm, meditation and inner exploration inspired by traditional shamanic journeying practices.**\n\nShamanic drumming has been used by indigenous and traditional cultures for thousands of years as a way to enter trance states, support healing, connect with the spirit world, seek guidance, and explore the deeper realms of consciousness. The drum is a powerful tool for entering a very deep trance like state without the need for any substances.\n\nWe will begin by creating a grounded and intentional space together through guided intention setting, gentle nervous system relaxation and immersive sound healing to help settle the body and quiet the thinking mind. You will be offered guidance on the foundations of shamanic journeying, including how to safely navigate the experience with curiosity, openness and personal sovereignty.\n\nSupported by the steady rhythm of the drum, participants will then be guided into a meditative journey into the Lower World — a symbolic inner landscape traditionally associated with instinct, wisdom, ancestral memory and spirit animal guides. Through trance-inducing drumming and deep relaxation, you may encounter meaningful imagery, insights, archetypal energies or supportive animal allies arising from the unconscious and hidden realms of the psyche.\n\nThis experience is approached with respect for traditional shamanic practices while remaining accessible, grounded and open to individual interpretation. No previous experience is necessary. Whether you experience vivid inner imagery or simply deep rest and reflection, the invitation is to explore your inner world in a safe and supported environment.\n\nThe evening will close with grounding meditation, integration and gentle reconnection to the body and present moment.\n\nWhat to expect:\n\n- Intention setting & journey guidance\n- Opening of sacred space\n- Nervous system relaxation practices\n- Sound healing & meditative preparation\n- Guided shamanic drum journey\n- Exploration of inner landscapes & spirit animal symbolism\n- Grounding meditation & integration\n\nPlease bring:\n\n- A yoga mat, blanket and pillow for comfort (spares are available)\n- Water bottle\n- Journal if you wish to reflect afterwards\n\nCome with an open mind, a willingness to explore, and allow the drum to guide you beyond ordinary awareness.\n\nIf you are unsure whether this practice is suitable for you, please reach out prior to booking. We can discuss your circumstances confidentially and explore whether adaptations or alternative support would be more appropriate.\n\nYour safety and well-being are always my top priority.",
