"description": "Calgary, winter of 1981. **Rupa Biswas**, a young singer from Calcutta, steps into a studio with a sarod maestro and a Canadian disco band, and two weeks later **Disco Jazz** exists. It sold a handful of copies, slipped away for forty years, and came back when *Aaj Shanibar* found a million listeners on YouTube. A record this full of warmth deserves a proper Sunday evening, so come spend this one with us. This listening session is hosted by **Ketan Bahira**t (Oceantied), a Bangalore producer and DJ since 2014, Red Bull Music Academy alum, with sets at Dimensions and Magnetic Fields, and **Tanisha Thyagarajan** (DoubleT), a textile designer whose sets move through UK Funky, Jersey Club, Brazilian Funk and footwork.",
