"description": "This 5Rhythms class is a 2hr hour session. We start with a warm-up, Body Parts Meditation, followed by a Wave.\n\nDuring these 5Rhythms classes we will move through Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and finish in Stillness.\n\nIts a time for you to explore and connect and explore ways of expressing movement and creativity through your body, a space to connect with yourself and move freely.\n\nYou don’t need any experience and there are no steps to follow, just a willingness to explore. You are welcome as you are to discover your own dance, how to connect with others and be part of a larger group in that discovery.\n\nAbout 5Rhythms \nCreated by Gabrielle Roth and practiced by tens of thousands worldwide, 5Rhythms® is a philosophy, perspective, performance art and a dynamic movement practice rooted in the principle that if you put the psyche in motion it will heal itself. Movement is both the medicine and the metaphor, reaching across all languages, cultures and age groups to transform suffering into art, art into awareness, and awareness into action. Wherever the 5Rhythms are practiced, a community is born to dance, to sweat, to change, to support, and to provide a safe space for each of us to relinquish the ego's hold and awaken the juicy, unpredictable, fascinating, edge-walking, wild part of ourselves that yearns to be free.\n\nCreativity. Connection. Community\n\n‘The 5Rhythms community is unbound by history, culture, race, religion, gender or politics. We are bound by the beat, following our feet on a dancing path to freedom. We are beat-driven, service-orientated, heart-based individuals who come together to embrace our longings. The measure of a community is its respect for the wisdom of its elders, the innocence of its children, the passion of its artists and the hope of its healers’ Gabrielle Roth\n\nAbout Louise\n\nLouise lives on the edge of Dartmoor in Devon, with her three children. She has a background in Karate, Tai-Chi and Flow Arts, and discovered 5Rhythms in the midst of motherhood in 2013. Finding the 5Rhythms gave Louise a creative outlet to be authentic and find her freedom.\n\n### _“I feel humbled to be following a deep calling to be of service, to hold space and be a gateway for the 5Rhythms. My hope is that through this practice everybody gets to live their truth to the fullest expression of who they are. Moving through the 5Rhythms, receiving the medicine of the dance, opening up to these states of being to find your true nature and beauty of what it is to be human.”_\n\n \n\nHaving graduated in the 5Rhythms Global Teacher Training in 2024 Louise is now able to use her passion and experience to bring 5Rhythms to others and share with them all the benefits it brings.",
