"description": "**Before the Rush**\n\nBrought to you by Dragonfly Studios, Soul Circles are small monthly gatherings for women and non-binary people to put down the many hats we wear, come home to ourselves, share stories and be seen and heard, just as we are.\n\n**This month's theme** \nOn Friday 13th November, Mercury turns direct after its retrograde in Scorpio, and Venus follows the next day. After weeks of astrology asking us to look back, things are starting to move forward again. We'll gather in the last week of Scorpio season, just before the Sun moves into Sagittarius on Sunday 22nd November, under a waxing crescent moon that's building towards first quarter.\n\nIt's also the moment the busiest time of year begins. Work deadlines, Christmas plans, presents, hosting and all the little jobs that keep everything running for everyone else... So this circle is a pause before the rush.\n\nWe'll reflect on:\n\n_As the busiest time of year begins, how can you care for yourself through it, and what might you need to say no to, so you can say yes to what matters?_\n\n**What happens on the evening**\n\n- Opening the circle and our simple agreements\n- Discussions around the monthly theme\n- A quiet moment for reflection\n- A chance to share (always optional)\n- Group reiki - hands-on or hands-off is chosen by each participant\n- A collective tarot reading\n- Circle close and a moment for gratitude \n\nIt doesn’t matter if you’ve never sat in a circle before or you’ve been to loads. You can come as you are, and there’s no pressure to share if you’d rather just listen. Of course, what _is_ shared stays in the room.\n\n**Please bring:** \nComfy clothes, a yoga mat, cushions, a blanket, and a notepad and pen. If you'd like, you can bring something meaningful to place on our centrepiece for the evening, though there's no need to.\n\n**The details**\n\n- Monday 16th November, 7:45 to 9:15pm (doors open at 7:35)\n- Whitchurch Village Community Centre, Bristol Road, BS14 0PT\n- **Please do not use Sat Nav as it takes you to the wrong location!** Use these co-ordinates instead: [https://maps.app.goo.gl/5gRJbsJvVVN5ERN78](https://maps.app.goo.gl/5gRJbsJvVVN5ERN78) \n- Up to 15 places\n- Introductory rate: £20\n- Access: step-free entry, toilets and chairs available, plus free parking on site\n- Cancellation: Full refund if you cancel at least 7 days before. After that, you're welcome to pass your place to a friend.\n\nYour facilitator is Becka, a tarot reader and reiki practitioner in Bristol. Please feel free to send me a message if you have any questions before booking.",
