Love to sing? All voices, abilities and perceived inabilities welcome.\n\n#### **Let’s reclaim our voice as a sacred gateway:**\n\n- To connect and reconnect to ourselves, each other, Nature and the Divine\n- To cultivate mindful presence, confidence, healthy nervous system regulation, and transmute emotional wounds into well-being.\n- To unlock flow states, the ability to channel, improvise, and unleash our spontaneous creativity and intuition\n- To enter altered states of consciousness, carry our prayers, and cast the healing and manifesting magic of our attention and intention\n- To authentically express our experience, wishes and boundaries, and share our unique and much-needed gifts into the world\n- To experience freedom, play, fun and silliness.\n\n#### **Sessions include:**\n\n- Gentle and playful vocal warm-ups with embodied movement practices.\n- Meditative and somatic practices using voice, attention and intention as tools to regulate the nervous system and work with energy.\n- Accessible introductions to various singing techniques from around the world, from shamanic and indigenous styles to toning, nature sounds, jazz scat and beatboxing.\n- Collective vocal improvisation jam to co-create music together, supported by games, tips and tricks to help us explore our way into group improvisation.\n- Sound journey: from relaxing sound baths to shamanic drum journeys, with some guided visualisation conducive to meditative trance states. Kat and guest musicians will layer vocal harmonies with world music instruments and shamanic drum beats on the live loop machine. An opportunity to relax and integrate, or journey deep with intention.\n- Social tea break to gather ourselves and connect as a community.\n\n \n\n### WORKSHOP TRAILER:\n\n<oembed url=\"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODYhGHG0msY\"></oembed>\n\n### REVIEWS:\n\nSaffran says:\n\n> Heart opening, voice opening, beautifully held: I loved the session I did with Kat. So that music becomes medicine for our creative expression, self-empowerment, healing and spiritual connection.\n\n### STAY IN THE LOOP:\n\n> [JOIN](https://www.katbonny.coJOIN)[Kat's Newsletter](https://www.katbonny.com/)\n\n> [Join the VOCAL IMPROV MEDICINE WhatsApp community](https://chat.whatsapp.com/JQFyJOzMRVp7Fj4uXGURue)\n\n> [Insta @katbonnymusic](https://www.instagram.com/katbonnymusic/#)\n\n> [Youtube @katbonnymusic ](https://www.youtube.com/@katbonnymusic)\n\n> [Listen to / Buy Kat's Music](https://katbonny.bandcamp.com/)\n\n> [www.katbonny.com](http://www.katbonny.com)\n\n#### \n\n#### THANK YOU for being here\n\n_See you in the wild places!_", "endsAt": "2027-05-21T20:45:00Z", "locations": [ { "$type": "community.lexicon.location.geo", "latitude": "51.5489787", "longitude": "-0.1004742", "name": "Skylight Centre, 49 Corsica Street, London N5 1JT, UK" } ], "mode": "community.lexicon.calendar.event#inperson", "name": "VOCAL IMPROV MEDICINE - May Singing Workshop & Sound Journey to Rewild our Voice with Kat Bonny", "startsAt": "2027-05-21T17:45:00Z", "status": "community.lexicon.calendar.event#scheduled", "uris": [ { "$type": "community.lexicon.calendar.event#uri", "name": "VOCAL IMPROV MEDICINE - May Singing Workshop & Sound Journey to Rewild our Voice with Kat Bonny", "uri": "https://dandelion.events/e/may" } ] }
