Whether it's your self-talk holding you back, energetic blocks constricting your body, un-expressed emotion to feel, a desire to experience different states of consciousness, there is space for you, right here! \n\nThere also might be shadow that emerges. Or something painful, embarrassing, shameful. It's all welcome here. \n \n\nWe will explore using two core modalities: **Authentic Relating and Circling **\n\n**The Core Stance: Non-Directivity (ND)**\n\nMy focus, and the thing I wish most to convey, is Non-Directivity (ND). ND reflects a radical trust in human agency - a commitment to meeting people exactly how they are, rather than how we think they **should be**. It is a refusal to colonise the inner life of another person through authority, expertise, or dogma.\n\n**The Practices in brief:**\n\n**Authentic Relating (AR)**: A mode of communication focused on revealing your immediate thoughts, feelings, and perceptions rather than hiding behind social masks, with the goal of deepening connection and building a shared reality.\n\n**Circling** : An emergent, group-based relational meditation practice where participants dive into the present moment together- exploring what it’s like to be with one another, heightening self-awareness, and practising un-withheld connection.\n\n**Concrete Examples**\n\n- **An AR game:** _\"To be my best friend, you would need to know this about me...\"_ (sharing what you love, hate, your highest values, or shadows in pairs for 3 minutes, then swapping).\n- **A Circling moment:** We might ask, _\"What is it like to be with the group whilst we are focusing on you right now?\"_ If the answer is shyness, we explore: _\"What is it to feel shy?\"_\n\n**The Container & Safety**\n\nWe come together to create a container infused with ‘as safe as possible’ practices, clear agreements, and accountability so that the magic can happen.\n\nBy its very nature, it is experimental, and there are no experts. However, you do have a facilitator committed to holding the space ethically and as safely as possible. I am trauma-informed, but I am also an Army Veteran who has been initiated through various forms of trauma. My penance, my redemption, has been finding practices that shift consciousness out of dominating, cold, individualistic, overly rational thinking, into collaborative, creative, embodied, and life-giving energy.\n\n**Is this for you?**\n\nThis work touches on cathartic, enlightening, and shadowy aspects, but **it is not therapy or counselling**. It is a peer-created, unpredictable, and sometimes uncomfortable space.\n\n**!!** If you struggle with uncertainty or awkward silences, or if you feel this might put you into crisis mode, please do not come - do the work 1:1 with a therapist or a coach to find your centre. If you are unsure if this practice is for you, please do not hesitate to get in contact with me beforehand. ** !!** \n \nIf you like edginess, well hello. This space is for people who see and feel the exploration of their inner world as totally and utterly awesome, they can handle paradox, nuance, and have a hold on their shadow. They are psychonauts at the helm of their consciousness, driving into the depths of the total psyche.\n\n**What to Expect**\n\nThe session begins with an **opening circle** to welcome one another, voice our **agreements** , and drop into the space together. \nThe first half of the session is a warm up, using Authentic Relating games. The second half of the session involves focus sessions and organic/ flow sessions as a whole group. \n\nIn brief… \nA focus session is when one person is the focus of our attention. Staying as close to this persons world as possible. \n\nAn organic, or flow session, is when there is no point of focus and the awareness shifts as our attention and perspectives change to where it wants to go. \n\n**Practical Details**\n\n- Location: The Sky Barn, Chyan Cultural Centre, TR10 9BT\n- Arrival: You are welcome to arrive 15 minutes early (from 6:45 PM) to settle in. We will start promptly at 7:00 PM.\n- Note: Doors will be locked at 7:15 PM once the agreements are set to act as a sealant from outside energies.\n\n**What to Bring**\n\n- Comfy clothes (you'll be moving around)\n- Your own \"squishy things\" or extra cushions\n\n**Ticket Note:** Tickets are non-refundable, you can swap or sell them with someone else, just let me know who. And you can save your ticket for another time if you really can't make it. \n\nI look forward to seeing you in the Sky Barn sometime soon, \n \nGuy. \n \n \nMore about Guy:\n\nWorking within the realm of Transpersonal Psychology, Guy offers a transformative coaching space rooted in the person-centred tradition. His approach is deeply invitational, designed to foster self-leadership and sovereign growth. Rather than standing as an external expert, Guy enters the field as a student-teacher and co-explorer, believing that the most profound learning happens within the \"collaborative ‘we’ space\" - the unique, temporary ritual space created by the group. Each session is a bespoke, regenerative journey that is as grounding as it is expansive.\n\nOther events Guy holds: \n\n[The Cuddle Lounge ](https://dandelion.events/o/cuddle-lounge)", "endsAt": "2026-11-03T21:00:00Z", "locations": [ { "$type": "community.lexicon.location.geo", "latitude": "50.1409224", "longitude": "-5.157755799999999", "name": "Chyan Cultural Centre, Penryn, UK" } ], "mode": "community.lexicon.calendar.event#inperson", "name": "Authentic Relating Circle", "startsAt": "2026-11-03T19:00:00Z", "status": "community.lexicon.calendar.event#scheduled", "uris": [ { "$type": "community.lexicon.calendar.event#uri", "name": "Authentic Relating Circle", "uri": "https://dandelion.events/e/q1i1t" } ] }
