It is a space for aliveness, spontaneity and expression.\n\n### **The Call**\n\nBears Cave is a place of darkness, of hibernation, of rest and regeneration. It is a place of stillness where we go to listen to soul. To the animate life-force that moves through all things and each of us. It is the returning to the vessel of our bodies. To empty out and become available to the way that the world speaks through us. Will you enter the cave?\n\n_You close your eyes_ \n_to journey into the cave of yourself._ \n_To the places where the darkness is luminous._ \n_You meet what awaits you there._ \n_Carrying the glimmers back to the day world._ \n_You dance the encounters you receive_ \n_Letting soul move you_ \n_Offering up your vision on the altar of the muse._ \n_We draw the circle and gather at the threshold_ \n_To cross is to surrender to souls song_ \n_The spontaneity of expression._ \n_In circle you are both witness and performer._ \n_Though to perform means to enact._ \n_You enact your longing._ \n_Encounters from the cave._ \n_Existing for a moment in endless possibilities_ \n_of the never before seen._\n\n### **The Invitation**\n\nThis is a space for enacting (which is a kind of ritual performance) something that has never before been seen. It might be what is alive in you in that exact moment. Or perhaps there is something thats been gestating in you for a long time that needs to be witnessed.\n\nThe invitation is to allow yourself to step across the threshold into the circle and ritual theatre space with the possibility of not preparing a thing and being open to what wants to emerge in the moment.\n\nTrusting that the expression that comes is exactly what needs to be expressed.\n\nNo prior experience is needed. You do not need to have a background in theatre or any kind of performance. \n\n### Disclaimer\n\nThis space is not meant for fixing, transforming, alchemising or changing anything. It is not personal development.\n\nIt is simply about stepping across the ritual threshold and allowing ourselves to be witnessed offering up our expression as a way to become more intimate with life.\n\nIf you are experiencing crisis, feeling in a difficult place with your mental health or emotionally under-resourced then this space might not be appropriate for you. If you have any questions about this you can email [alana@truenature.org.uk](mailto:alana@truenature.org.uk)\n\n### **What to Expect**\n\nBears Cave welcomes the food of the muses in all it’s forms: poetry, voice, song, improvisation, butoh, clowning, mask work, movement & dance, archetypal exploration, the shadow, melodrama… and probably many not listed here.\n\nThere will be some landing & guiding that will take the shape of an imaginal journey and movement to prepare. Then we create the circle threshold and enter the ritual space together. At some point the ritual will end and close and there will be some time to decompress together.\n\nThis offering is on a pay-what-you-can scale to help cover the costs of the space.\n\nSuggested sliding scale cost is £15 low income | £20 standard | £25 high income\n\n### Your Guide\n\n![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/08/24/09/44/53/789449cf-730f-4fad-a9dd-b897e4dbcda9/Alana-158.jpg)\n\n**Alana Bloom** is a multi-disciplinary artist, facilitator, women’s mentor & nature connection guide stewarding eco-centric and animist ways of being that bring us back into connection with the natural world, each other and our deepest nature.
