"description": "A soundtrack for the contemporary, queer flâneur, moving through spaces where being alone does not necessarily mean being lonely. This is Mykki like you've never heard 'em before, mon amour.\n\nThe one and only Mykki Blanco dropped a new album on September 4th and is now touring Europe. THIS IS NOT A DRILL! Come get some, oh dear inhabitants of planet Brussels, for when Mykki speaks / spits / cries / sings / dances / loves / kisses / (redacted), we open our eyes and ears and (redacted).\n\nSEE YOU ON THE ROOFTOP OF THIS HOUSE <3\n\n19:30 (open)\n20:30 Mykki Blanco\n23:30 (end)\n\nOn his latest full album Café Paradiso, Mykki Blanco is completely reborn, trading the persona-driven theatrics of his previous releases for something more interior and exacting. It’s a series of vignettes that speak to the lives lived inside the concrete jungle, from Paris to New York and back. Blanco and his collaborators purr about hanging out, hooking up, and dancing the night away under the street lights over a sultry, nostalgic groove that feels both familiar and slightly unreal. Resisting the logic of escalation or destination, Café Paradiso lingers in transitional spaces — the solitary meal, the late-night bar, the airport terminal — where time stretches and the self becomes momentarily unmoored, in a loving embrace of perpetual movement.\n\nhttps://www.instagram.com/mykkiblanco/\n\nhttps://devo.tunneled.to/beursschouwburg/en/events/mykki-blanco/",
