"description": "The midterm elections are taking center stage in U.S. politics amid crises of empire, from three years of the ongoing U.S.-Israeli genocide in Palestine to deepening social and economic unrest here. Working people across the country are rejecting the billionaire-backed Trump administration, but will a “blue wave” actually deliver the change working people need? History tells us no, as time and time again, both parties have put billionaire profits ahead of our needs.\n\nNo matter which party wins the midterms, one thing is clear: defeating Trump for good means dismantling the capitalist system that gave rise to him. Join us at our next PSL interest meeting to learn about how we’re organizing for a new system that puts people over profit!",
